"I like to keep dead flowers by my bed" she said
"as a reminder that all beautiful things come to an end"
And as she looked up at me with watery eyes
I understood, by that, what she meant
this is one of my shorter ones. i like the way you can interpret what 'she' means. i think it says something about you
Sunlight filters through
Your own colourful viewpoint
Your green is not mine
First attempt at haiku ^__^
what will become of me when i die?

will my body offer itself up
to the lost, and lonely stars?
or will i spend eternity in heaven
maybe even possibly hell?

will i just decay
in a wooden box underground?
or become a ghost,
and haunt human lifeforms?

when we die,
do we become something,
or nothing?
death is such an interesting topic, honestly. none of know what happens to us when we die
This is the cardiac line.
Your first stop is the
left atrium.
Passengers alight here for warmth and passion.
Please have your tickets ready worn on your sleeve.
We apologise for any delays. This was due to mixed signals.
You are in coach one of four.
Mind the gap between the heart and common sense.

Wondrous !

( She who loves )

•    •

The living and the dying
The giving and the holding on

Hand in hand thru the Park

The Naked Light of Eternity

( a momentary hint of immortality )

------

Now we are still
( even if barely )

Of the living

We MAY
Awaken

To ALL primal urges

Of love

( for man and for divinity )

••

And tread at last

The cornicopeia

Of truth

We have known

Just must be Here
I am Death
We all are
We are the ones for whom the bells toll

What comes next?

Darkness
or
Soul
