Floetry
It rhymes
Floetry streams like a river
Spitting it out like falling dimes
All of it timed
Projecting emotion and picture (memories) like a giver
Out of the entire verse there's just one thin sliver
A beautiful verse
Beautiful yet terse
And then the floetry ends
The back beat descends
Into the crowd the floet  blends
Until another day

Erotica epitome, your lips so soft, I am standing on my toes
Beautiful and ******, sensual sensational music playing in the background
and with a kiss we were
high and turned on, submerged in ******* tones
Beeping and aroused *****
But then the songs ended.

May the memory melismatic in every sense that permeates colour and oozes flavour... Live on, long after the songs have ended.

Feed my voice with your name,
let me wash away your purple rain,
and fill your pleasures with my pain,
until we feel each other in vain.
Inspire me. ****** me. Serenade me.
Send to me ******* rhythms and let
the ****** hymns play... And then the songs play as we lay.
Frank Sinatra has us on the road, Irma
Thomas telling us to be ourselves...
Love me like Aretha has never loved a
man, move me like Nina Simone, just
you and I alone. Dinah Washington says I should teach you, Etta James
warning me not to tear your clothes.
Let's play some Sarah Vaughn and
Fontella Bass. Ease me with some Diana
Krall and Dianne Reeves, swing motion
with Chris Boti. Tell me you love me Inside Out as does Shara Nelson. Let's
fall in love to Cassandra Wilson. Let us go the jungle and listen to the
bears sing, the legends of love lore...
Sing and groan; Some Isaac Hayes,
Barry White, Teddy Pendergrass,
Marvin Gaye, James Ingram, Gary
Taylor... Let them play, let them sing. And some love bees; some Betty
Wright, Angela Winbush, Regina Belle,
Sade, Marsha Ambrosius... Tone it
down on a spunky blue with some
Meshell Ndegeocello, Janet Jackson,
Laurnea, a bit of Floetry, some Incognito and Karyn White. Max it up with some Maxwell, Rahsaan,
Ralph Tresvant, Glenn Jones and Tevin
Campelle. Let's jazz it up with some Fourplay,
Brian Culbertson, Quincy Jones, Euge
Groove and Marion Meadows... Lounge
and spice it up with some Prince Alec,
Hed Kandi and Kalliope. Funk it up with some Rick James, Ten
City, Brothers Johnson and Billie
Ocean... Let us ****** and swim in the
love ocean. Making love in a Time Machine,
fading through timeless scenes
listening to stimulating music
searching for a combine that is our
fusion
Biting on some dust and swallowing colour
lush are the strips that are dripping
from the trees of chemistry
dancing to music lively, singing to
blues puzzling
beating to jazz dubbing, responding to ethereal loungy sound
music and our souls will be one
in a time machine, learning
combinations orchestrated through the
ages
We will evolve and be sages Until time linear is more sincere and
eternity for us is here. Let the music play, my bed will be a
time machine, shut never your ears
listen to the music that does play and
wipe them tears
all the drama you've been through all
these years in a second we'll be naked and
climbing stairs
we'll be invited to the kingdom of
Romance and Serindipity
You can be the Queen, I'll be King
Poetry painting neverending pictures surreal
in a world ethereal and the real will dull
feel
and forever you and I will be, if we
journey in the musical time machine.

Wear the streets as the color of your skin

Some mostly see the ghetto

Or a jungle,

Watch what happens when you call me monkey...

These fists!

But when you look upon me as a friend

(Open hands clap clap

Secret handshake)

What Ev's to the "man" you work for

Let's kick it in your whip

Have the bass bounce off our teeth

It's all good to see you too

Let's keep the good ripples lit

Smile positively genuine

Groove and rolling down the street

We mean no harm

Just

AX

No body gives a ****

Hip to game

Hop over the chain

This is the future, can't deny me mines...

Better be quick with wit

The Smarts no ****

Yet true to thine shine

Living loving

Floetry...

I’m catching feelings, hope you don’t leave and go catch airplanes.
When the universe aligned, our paths and hearts were destined to collide.
You still give my comfort zone endless earthquakes; I wonder how much that is on the Richter scale.
Let me love you unconditionally regardless of how ugly your truths are.
In a sky full of constellations, you know that you’ll always be my favourite star.
It doesn’t matter whether it’s winter or summer, when you are the breeze I can never forget to breathe.
I’ve been digging the soles of my shoes into the ground just to keep myself steady and balanced.
I stood in the rain patiently awaiting your arrival but then, I eventually realised that you were the rain.
Looking forward to the day where your body and mine finally merge into one.
The day when we finally find home and we never ever feel alone because love is all around.
The day when we are able to look back at all the greatness we have both become.
Look me in my starry eyes and tell me that everything will be okay.
I can’t give you the world but I pray that you stay for more than just another day.
I’m Lonnie Lynn with the poetry, Marsha and Natalie with the Floetry.
So all you got to do is say yes if the question is, “Will you be mine from this day onwards?”
I don’t have much but I have you and with God on my side, how can I lose?
When the universe aligned, our paths and hearts were destined to collide.
I’m catching feelings, hope you don’t leave and go catch airplanes because my heart is really growing fond of you.
Falling in love with someone is a beautiful thing. Becoming so in love that you never want them to leave.

It's getting late
Why don't you want to be here
Beside me, for me to watch you
I need you
I want you
If you afraid... Don't be
If you afraid... Don't be
Don't be scared, I won't hurt you
Like he did... Twice babe.
I want you to like the method to my manliness
See I hope that you make an exception for my friendliness, because my tenderness is splendiferous
I am quite a gentlemen, however it do not stop my urge to dive deep into your sediments and kiss all over your floetry... Is that alright?

All you gotta do is say yes
Set aside your stress
Undress
Rest
Stretch
As I flex
And I caress
...Apex
We make a mess
I whisper, close to your year
"There's is only one for me, you have made that possibility"
So I don't mind taking that step to "sea"
Your wavy shore
Before I walk along it all you have to do is say yes
You sure?
Then you say "right there"
Followed by how I "make you so, so, so"
Open up your mind, because it's getting later
Don't deny if I'm making you wetter

It's almost late
You're here for a reason
Beside me
Watching me watch you
Knowing I'm needing you
Feeling me wanting you
I can see that you're afraid... Don't be
I can see that you're afraid... Don't be
Because I'm cautious about hurting you
Twice is more than enough
My method of manliness
Is the reason why we're breathless
Why do I question?
The clock?
Because my big hand and your little hand has attracted
After we latched it
We traded keys
Your trembling knees
My laughter
Is assurance
That I plan to be here happily after
Just say yes
And i'll be here until the morning
Then i'll be here for the excitement, and I'll be around when it's boring
Not only appearing when I'm *****
I can taste the lineage because your family is supportive of my decisions

It's really late
For you to be afraid
The lights is out
But trust that I'm right here
Wiping your tears
Afraid of losing you
We're both scared
For you it's being hurt twice
For me it's hurting a woman again

It's too late
You basically said yes
By wearing my shirt as your dress
By not denying your head to my chest
Your temple to my peck
You finally mumble I'm the best
And only thing I had left to say is "yes"
"You make me so, so , so ... "

I need coffee and poetry and music by Solange, Emeli Sandé and Floetry.
I need love and freedom, I need to know that God is in my life even when there’s pain in my eyes.
Our love and chemistry was beautifully overwhelming but I never wanted you to say goodbye.
You left without any warning, you left and I need to know the reason why while I keep listening to Cranes in the Sky.
I tried to drink it away but every time I did, I woke up the next day feeling intensely inebriated.
I have cried myself to sleep on days when the world was dancing to the rhythm of my melancholic heartbeat.
I have fallen in love with my own solitude, but lately loneliness has taken over every single part of me.
You still have my heart beating in rhythms that are foreign to my existence.
I find it useless spending all this time apart while we keep admiring each other from a distance.
I have been waiting for you to help me get rid of this miserable and lonely life of mine.

Not old enough am I.
But jealous, yes I.

My windows open to times past
Times filled with hop & hip
Soul & Blues &
Rhythm too.
That music for the soul,
           Music that fills the streets,
Music filled with love, peace and chicken grease.
Critique is welcomed.

Deceitful

I became a lost soul
and you had already been lost
in the midst of darkness
we found each other

in the midst of our words
our ******* words, you know
they have power
so much power

and as the days went on
the nights got longer
our weakness turned to love
our love became stronger

I gave in
to what I said I wouldn't
I tried to hold back
sadly I couldn't

and here I sit
missing something that
...never was
and hoping
for something that
....never could be

because I love you
and i miss you
and becoming engaged
in floetry
wasn't only for me
like you had presented
it to be

...ha.
not such a fool I am,
you see?

I love myself enough
to know I have an addiction
to things that give me life
to feelings that are
different

oh the ache
oh the pain
you devoured my soul
into your wretched world
and I felt safe
...I felt safe

bleeding these words
on a screen
licking my wounds
until the sin
is washed clean

you cannot hear my screams
you'll never see my tears
though it is killing me slowly
to walk away so lonely

but I have a heart
...a heart to shield
to keep it beating
I must rule the day

you truly are such
a gentleman
a lovely beaut
wrapped in a lie
soaked in a cheat

and u can't even see
your own deceit
The moment you realize..

(C) Maxwell 2014
I went to a manufacturing firm at Ends and Heaven, where all things beautiful are made, and I witnessed that God does still create angels - this all happened as I looked into her eyes

I looked into her eyes and to my surprise, she saw a warrior in me who was kind enough to give a heart

I have been inspected, feelings are overflowing, I am infected
Sitting in the garden by a tree,
idling around writing idylls as an idiot in love spitting riddles

She is a puzzle, I put together the pieces and she fits a flawed perfection,
I have been guided by the Spirits of Light hence this selection

Is she the one or another, that's the question
I am a victim of repetitive infatuation, have I been loving or just fumbling into dramatic situations?

There is a silver lining in the clouds,
what story does it write? for I have scars and marks
so ****** I can use them as ink to spill these pages with poetry
I leave my DNA in the web of floetry, does she fly (the chosen), will she flow with me?

Stung and hung, the air of love fills my lungs
Am I falling or disappearing?
Looking into her eyes, do I wink like a fool or just keep staring?

Oh love a lump so lush leaves me longing for a luscious lively touch of love and things as such...
An eternal brush, the breath of the Angel of Love.

These streams of water are displaced,
A river that flows, knows no direction.
Unaware of it’s state, it pours as if my brain is a cloud and the more pain I taste, the more it rains.
My breath becomes shallow, my heart hollow, I skip over oxygen, drowning in my own disaster.
The pen shakes as I am lost in definition of these earthly concepts. However, my fingers as if of their own consciousness, copies and paste.
I say unto it, “will you continue to write my dying words, when the love you’ve given me, would be lost in return?”
