ghost queen
the sun burns white in an endless sky
as i forget the silver glow of a faint moon
i no longer hear signs of life
all is quiet
most everything is dead
stars hang reflectionless
in a sea of tears
i struggle to remember
what life was like
when things were normal
when there was hope
that last summer
of two thousand nineteen

ghost queen
i’ve lost hope
numb and reeling
living the aftermath
of a foreseen tragedy
remembering
what was important
when there was time
to love
and dream

Journey of love ...

while we ...
our bodies ...
melts ...
one into other ...
keep your eyes ...
into mines ...
to create together ...
a great feelings ...
while bodies ...
with it's crazy desire ...
kiss each other ...
to give this love ...
more power ...
of craziness ...
all our night ...
until the dawn ...
comes ...
with it's brightness sun ...
to fall then ...
with a naked bodies ...
full of lust ...
until we wake up again ...
at night ...
so we continue the journey ...
this journey of love ...
again ...

Blind

Kushal
The lights have run their wick.
The hands of the clock turn
Yet they weigh no bearing.
Eternity could pass in the darkness.

Where have I gone...
That there is naught to guide me?

Far from home...
I dream of meals surrounded by warmth.

The drums beat a familiar melody,
And everything sways in rhythm.

It's as if I've been here before,
Cradled by the warmth of a thousand stars.
The flowers are always in bloom,
And even at sunset, the stars sparkle bright.

The hand that holds my heart...
I hope you don't go far,
For you've stolen my everything with that smile of yours.

Audience

I never lack an audience
even if it's just one person
i have
the cranium of poetry
humbly poised to be placed high
nirvana in a verse
is not to be flaunted
just like the distant incident of snow
remains far and illusive
only the wind knows
the interstice between the heaven and the ocean
the interstices amidst the words
only time knows
i never lack an audience
even if all the readers
who have come from all bearings
have gone
well, i knew that sooner or later
they will leave too
i just hope that when they do
they don't forget it all like a hangover
that'd be a cinch
i never need an audience
time is always by my side
the one true
underwriter.

Streambed

A place of silence
the bed of an exhausted runlet
parched and windless
it can make us remember
the part when we touched
some of us used it as a mirror once
saw in its rippling
the shimmering scales
of fleshed out time
it seemed real
it's frightening to realize it's real
we can recall when the never-ending flow
is exhilarating
alive
unlike other mysterious phenomena
now everything seems irretrievable
though we can still vaguely
hear its voice
in our lives
everyone carries with them
a streamlet
but we never want to be clear
about the existence
and future of the stream bed.

Petunia

When the moonlight
lowers
i see in the night
a tearful ghostly light
don't know where it came from
can't even get a whiff
but i know
the petunia is meditating
unperturbed
can't really read her heart
can't tell how strong
she actually is
though the frost and dew
have barged in
the angle of the fallen fence
is expanding
but this i know
when the morning comes
she'll be awake
she'll be something different
i know
it must be the sunrise
that is able to mulch and sprout
the most captivating smile.

Summer song
 Aug 2023 ryn
Maelynn
A melancholy melody
Floats in softly on the breeze
Accompanied by a lone wolf crooning
And the shaking of the trees
Booming thunder is the percussion, whistling water reeds the flutes
There are no words in this private concert
It’s wild to it’s roots.

I take a peek outside my window
And breathe in the summer song
I find peace in the storms chaotic crescendo
We’ve been the same all along
Nature, emotion, chaos, wild

Goddess Rue
Black Dahlia tears,
Beckoned beneath the crimson,
Bloodbath gleamed garden.
Dear white dahlia,
Flushed with extremity,
Desire to wound,
With a wounded heart,
Restlessly witnessing,
That guilty presence,
Of now Black Dahlia,
Plaguing me.

I detest this infestation,
It manifests hues of blues,
As I stood there tearing,
The garden I cared for.
