Then she turned off the volume
of her world today.
Seeking her much needed silence in her heart.
She tried to live alone inside a special place
where grief and pain do not exist.
And in her silence and solitude,
she began to renew her springs
that have dried up.
THE SUN GOES UP

AND THE FLOWERS
FACES THE SKY

WHILE THE BEES
SWARM WITH THE BREEZE

BRINGING NECTAR
IN THEIR LIPS

COLLECTING POLLENS
IN THEIR WINGS

BRINGING SPRING
IN THE HIVE'S FEAST.
I missed going outside where I can see nature.
I
Might
Be
Breathing
Like
Everyone else
But
I feel
Dead
Inside.
Therefore
I
Am
Numb.
Not only sands and gravels
Were once more on their travels,
But gulping muddy gallons
Great boulders off their balance
Bumped heads together dully
And started down the gully.
Whole capes caked off in slices.
I felt my standpoint shaken
In the universal crisis.
But with one step backward taken
I saved myself from going.
A world torn loose went by me.
Then the rain stopped and the blowing,
And the sun came out to dry me.
Why do we search for smiles
When there are so many around us

Don't forget to store an extra in your back pocket
Who cares if your dwelling
Dwelling to far into your head

What matters
Is a visible smile the public can observe
Evidence that they have nothing to worry about

Because you plastered on a smile
Because to them you are unbreakable

Face away from the shadows
They will only hinder a shatter

The wall of false realities still standing

Always turning back to the voices
Reminding you where you stand
You start to shrivel

Wanting to break down
You crumble
Hearing a knock
Snapping back
Someone stands in front of the door

Plastering on that smile
Once more

The voices
Screaming out your name
Reminding you your place

Forget about your suffering
Go to the convenience store
And pick up a new smile
Ever feel useless
Like the words spilling unevenly off the page

Feeling inclined to do so
Overlooking all you have done
Only contributing to a blank page

The urge to be pulled up
Lifted away by an illusion
One that we can not see unmasked
But still run for cover around the corner
Waiting for the knock
The sting and strain do not go away
Taking a few breaths to keep moving

Eyes shut unmoved waiting for the light show
To distract and conduct the chaos
That falls to your knees as the light show ends

Now face to face with the masked figure

Standing ground
Feet planted unable
Unwilling to be lifted as they rise

Face to face
Admiring the deep disfigurement
Trying to decipher the eyes behind the facade
The mask comes loose

Only to see the crimson eyes
Of someone scared to reveal themselves any further
than they allowed

The space between
Now gone
Welcoming the warmth
With a smile the masked figure is gone

Catch that lost breath
Return the forgotten pase
Pick up the pieces and make them mean something

Tropical weather brings along the rain,
Bathing burning skin, scorching sun,
And the tree out front has overgrown
Bright, tiny yellow flowers, sprinkled light.
They emerge, stars amongst the greenery
As we swim across the cooling sea,
Lemon flavor lingers in your mouth,
Sugary kisses, on humid nights.
And the tallest palms, they reach the skies,
Swaying gently, bending in the wind,
Month of June, I breeze, for all the whims,
And we keep each other, discovering.
For the summers filled with the sweetest smiles :)

The heavens above have heard my pleas,
Countless times, name screamed from lips,
They rolled off poisoned tongue, to float,
The curse you planted on my heart, unknown,
I conjure fictitious lore to sell in your name,
Strange dreams on drunken sleep of you,
I thought once before, I don’t think no more,
***** echoes, sweet, enthralling fumes,
Tingling hands, never tire out from ink,
“No rest until all pages are filled with him”,
And the mother beams with the know it all,
Spell casted lightly from charmers tongue,
And my ears unsealed, I tied down my hands,
You resumed your singing, with a glinting eye.
