Piglet
My brothers only 2 years old
and as sweet as he can be
for a half a pint sized demon
with his gaze fixed firm on me.
He tries to steal my make up
all my things are his to take
Please mother can we take him back
and soon, for goodness sake!
My brother Ephraim is an absolute hoon!
Tentacles with impressive girth
From space, rain down to Earth
In furious flurry, *birthing

A new reign of terror*

Oy vey! Scream the globalist elite
Suspended in animation
As throbbing veins,
Snares, entangling
Penetrate their every orifice
Nonconsensually
So tell me, do you fancy octopus or squid?

the urban ecosystem
breeds the urban beast;
the two-legged feral brute

they board their clockwork motorcages
the young ones in predatious packs
the old, too weathered to care
animal autonomy
born from sweatshop routines

i imagine myself
as a metropolitan jane goodall
observing and assimilating
taking note of the cacophony of
hoots and and hollers
the city-born mating calls
the high-topped courtship dances
******* civility born from enslaved mindsets

a young, dark-skinned boy
let's rhyme flow freeformed
to the rhythm of a young girls dancing feet
stomps and claps excite the celebration
of abandoned social etiquette
and of my foreign presence

i resemble some exotic missing link
a mix of this, that and the other
my skin, a rare quilt
and this draws more attention
than a gold-dusted african queen

i place myself in the back
peering through the windows of this transit jungle
feeling my heart skip beats
boom...boom...shhhh...
i must've left my rhythm in my other heritage
because i can't catch the ancient flow
but my neck leads my head in bobs

my brain rattles with old soul memories
and i see these young folks on the train
held back by centuries of black struggle
but forever rejoicing in african pulse
forever embodying our ancestoral pride

and i think, how peculiar
on the outside looking in like a fishbowl
exiled from my own brown-skinned tribe
with my oppression fitted like a glove
my blackness a mere disguise
my blackness camouflage
my blackness
not quite
black
enough
Will you remember me, Tanzania?
When my map of your curves is folded
And I see no more your mountain in my mind
Only your smile, straight as a line
On the day I flew away.

The wind travels far, Tanzania
And I must follow
Knowing you has left me hollow
And thus I search
But will you remember me?

The feel of my flip-flop footfalls on your face,
The sound of my laugh as your wind carried it away,
Will you remember how your thorns pierced me,
Pleading with me to stay?
Oh, will you remember me Tanzania?

We pause for a moment at the barbed wire fence,
Brief it burned
But coke-bottle circles in my cheeks will be my memento
Like your dark-eyed children and how, somehow they grow
Taller, darker, row on row.
Tell me you will miss me so
Oh Tanzania.

Will you remember how your sun kissed my forehead?
And how I tasted the feel of your words on my tongue?
How I stole your air to fill my lungs?
I stole as much as I could bear.
Small, dark hands braided my hair

Will you remember me, Tanzania?
As I cling to these landmarks and scars
Which fade from my mind,
Remember how I shook as we left each other behind
Remember how I wore your earth on my skin
Then let your rains wash me clean
How I felt your forest
Brown and green
You were not as you first seemed
But nor was I

Tanzania, Tanzania
What will you remember?
Here with your thoughts on mine,
I bless the legacy of your skyline.
Beautiful or ******
Oh, Tanzania
Who do you say that I am?
Inspired by *Identities* by Matthew Mead, and also by my own travels
When making arrangements for ending it all
be sure to consume the right pills,
for the medicine chest contains many things
They prescribe now to cure other ills.
He’d said his goodbyes and he’d written the note
On the day that he thought was his last.
When he saw he’d O.D’d on Cialis instead
he was taken back and aghast.
For Cupid, not Thanatos, had answered his call
leaving him hard as dried plaster!
Though his wife was impressed-
And gave it her best-
He still throbbed on the edge of disaster.
Two pros they then called
To give it their all
To deal with this “gift” that keeps giving.
Despite their best efforts
He rampant remained
And he thought to himself “This is living”.
His medical doctor had just the thing
to keep Priapism in check.
When he finally went slack
There was no turning back
They at least kept it out of the Press
Upon further reflection
the hope of resurrection
Made him rip up his note and go on
For Life is worth living
with a wife so forgiving
of a spouse with a four hour bone.
A pome about little blue pills
why don't we all do the primal thing
take off our clothes and reveal everything
not a stitch of clothing did Neanderthal folks wear
they allowed their naked bodies to breath the air

nudist colonies are the last bastion of bare skin
the people at these places never fail to grin
without dresses and pants they are a happy crew
all of them putting their kit out on view

it is a norm for us to take in the sunshine whilst bare
and a law should be passed to allow this fair
we've been overly wrapped in fabric for years
no wonder we've been without any cheers

the straight laced may not be too keen on ******
but may I remind them that it is such a liberty
shedding the coats and petticoats wont do any harm
and showing a little of our bodies isn't cause for alarm

our forebears of a by gone era were not clad
they ran around in the buff and never did anything bad
those who wish to be in a state of undress
take off your attire and don't feel any stress

Dear Homework,
Sitting down to do you is like a little kid sitting down to eat his veggies.
In case the eternity of school every day isn't enough you add to that.
You're the nails on a chalkboard, the leg that fell asleep.
The peas in the chicken noodle soup, the sun blocking my view.

You're like an injury.
Always holding me back.
You're like getting out of bed.
Nobody wants to but we all have to do it eventually.
Hopefully you're like dinosaurs.
We just want you to go extinct.

Sincerely, Everybody

I saw a dinosaur today,
his scales were pink!
Perhaps he's gay?
His claws were big,
His teeth were whoppers.
And his *** was firing party poppers.

All day panda girl reclines
Exercise she declines

Horsey girl will bring you luck   ( U )
Her legs are strong and she drives a truck

Bonobo girl is worth consideration
Taking account of her reputation

Cat girl charms you with her eyes
She chings her  claws and claims her prize

Crocodile girl will make you happy
Until she gets a bit too snappy

Dormouse girl may give a peep
Together you'll have a lovely sleep

Turtle girl will be just swell
If you coax her from her shell

Wallaby girl needs some space
To hop about from place to place

Tarantula girl gives you pangs
When she shows her fearsome fangs

Cougar woman's after me
Completing my  fantasy
Menagerie
Can have a bit of fun can't I?   What John calls a piffle. Good word.
