I am at the side of a cliff.
Finally lost my belief.
Life is fast I couldn't reach.
I am dying save me please.

Each loving word builds a string
But how thin and brittle is the thing!

You see my loosing my grip
so you grasp me by my hip.

"I love you," he said.
Between the lines, I read.

Attention he craved,
Attention I gave.

Love doesn't mean thing
When you have to hold on by a string.

The  farmer  sows  his  seed.
Hoping  for  a  good  crop.

As  the  saying  goes.
A  wet  and  windy  May.
Fills  the  barn  with  corn  and  hay.

May  is  germination  time.
He  prays  for  wet  and  windy  May.
But  we  hope  for  nice  sunny, Spring  weather.

It's  the  same  in  life  you  see.
We  must  sow  our  seeds.
To  reach  our   goals.

The  secret  is.
Never  to  give  up, just  keep  going.

I am the queen of what ifs
Sitting on a throne of could've beens

My fears are my loyal subjects
Escorting my dreams to the gallows

My ambitions are now prisoners
To my court of procrastination

I, the queen
Reign over all of this regret
May we never forget

I, The Queen ©

wordvango
spent many a night
inhaling words
mainlining metaphors
then spent days
sleeping off the dreams
and when I woke up
again, took a hit of
the next word I saw
and did
it all again!
