Where the sparkle is found
Milan Winters Oct 2016
Deep as raging sea
Full of something long lost
to mere inadequacy of words

Wonder resides in this sparkle
Fellowships in this twitch

For these are not mere globes
They are windows into beauty
If one seeks to look

Joy leaks through the lenses
as though light is trying to bend

They glisten like steel
Yet soft like embrace

These temples of memory
These cups of emotion
are quickly regular according to common man
yet quite special, even spectacular
To the one the truth is opened to

They pull at ones eyes to be free
To let go of completely everything

And as one lets go to be free
One sees sparkle and sea
Sea of Love, Sparkle of Wonder
These Globes might grow old
Yet they will always remember

Lets Go...
Milan Winters Oct 2016
lets go on an adventure
the grand marvelous kind
it will be a long story
of friendship and love
may it never cease
but stretch on for eternity

may we especially be alive
to our very last days

until we die
hand in hand
hearts matching
love crashing

Dreamers Bliss
Milan Winters Oct 2016
This is the moon, the light in the darkness
Shining to those only willing to look up
To let their face be illuminated by her touch

But instead it is simply a simple
A mundane thing to always be abused
For what it has to offer
Not what it gives, what it shows

But finally, young dreamer looks
Looks just to find a simple curve
But there shines a crescent
a crown of beauty, of splendor
So he smirks, knowing he has found his wonder

Hair in a Dance
Milan Winters Feb 2017
It wraps around like fire
It flows like an eternal stream
It tells of blissful freedom
A time of Jubilant laughter

Violent twists of joy
Gentle twirls of wonderment

Soft like love
Long like time

Color Indescribable
Beauty undeniable

Tree
Milan Winters Feb 2017
Curved and twisted it's a cursed creation
Ghastly bark falling like the fog of morning
Its arms crushed like the hope it once carried
A light flutter comes against its powder leaves
They turn to mist, decayed roots shift underneath
The tree leans, croaking in pain

This slight sound of anguish echos into the day
A young heart comes to observe the beauty he heard
As he approaches he smiles with joy
The oak filled with hope tells a story
He lets go of his limbs, and severs his roots
He falls like a fool, and crashes like love
