This scar on my shoulder reminds me that you were real
Those texts in my old flip phone show me you were here
I hear your laugh in my head
And see your eyes when I look in the mirror
I can still feel your body heat
Like you never left

Slur pee
I got bars; they rattle inside my empty brain
I got pain; it’s shaped like the things that make it fade
I got hate; lain by the hands of the guy hiding inside my face
I got erased; from every place I safely encased betwixt my rib’s cage
I got rage; fighting against the machine operating the man
I got plans; to say “I got plans” but they’re empty promises
I got remitted; from whatever it was that god had written
I got smitten; with a boy who makes my vices start itchin’

I got to scratching and I don’t like what I’m sniffin’

Some people are so alive and full of life,
Some people just want to die
as the world burns
around them

because nothing is
so warm.

You know,
I could have told you

so much more
if I weren't so afraid
of the stars and those lives
that I left behind all those closed doors.
I can't pin this feeling down.

Eleni
Turning the pages
Turn the pages.
She's just another lost angel
Lost angel.
Crying angel.
Weeping devil.

So I move on, turning the pages
Would you care for her?
Or turn the pages...
She is no one.
Heart full of stories, mystical magic
Enchanting, dying
Inside her- no one.

She turns her pages
She remembers- the hatred
No one will ever know.

And she's drowning
In a sea of fools
She's crowning
Her own ghouls.

Maybe I'll stop by- some day
Turn her pages- hear her say:
'I never loved you, never loved you.'
Did you feel those dying blues
Ocean, river, dying blues.
Crashing down- the hurricane will bring you down, down, down.

Will I forgive her- my haunting mirror?
She stares at the stars in my eyes-
Say goodbye.
Say goodbye.

Haunting mirror- say goodbye.

Turn my pages
Through the ages
Cut the edges
Face the faces
Leave no traces
A thousand changes.

Gidgette
She wanders in stillness,
Dark
Stricken from lips of men
The ancient mother
And how I love her
The secret bride
Black Madonna
Goddess
She is erased
And stars
are the dust upon her feet
The ultimate outcast
Voice of Lillith
Silent as dew drops
kissing roses in spring
For every living thing, there is an equal. Research The Black Madonna. And as always, I love you all.

Colm
Old buildings weather youthful storms
And trees bear more children than we’ll ever know

Humanity is not a curse
But a whisper down an empty hall

No shadow lies without intent
Or climbs beyond a human’s back

And though we bend and break with age
We are born again just to take it back

How needlessly we weave between
The bitter roots, the grass and trees

Sit at the base of life content
And remember all which you’ve seen

Because we leave our better trees
To depart the earth into the soil

And though we hope to forever stand
No building will ever endure

No, in the end
We all will break and fall again
Crashing down. In due time. Regardless of certain things.
When I ask too many questions
I see your brow bury into
a frustrated wrinkle
like I caught you in a lie
you don't understand
and you never understood me
I don't give you sassy
I give you questions
I don't give you an apology
I give you an inquisition
like you are in an exam
you just can't fathom
because you don't think deep
enough about the black me...
