My actions have a name —
Social Suicide
A cannibalistic act.
Burrowing deep
into the earth
Where the dead lay twitching.
Unhook myself from the past,
The people I knew,
Counted as friends.
They never grieved my loss,
Superficial love kills quickly.
Ain't it funny?
Can't sleep anymore,
I just wander in the dark
Till morn.
The moon and stars
Looking down,
they won't miss me either.
I'm in love.
Oh... yes.
Yeah, it's nice.
Can hardly wait
To call her wife.
What a life!
What a girl!
Luckiest man
In the world.
Found the one
Who kissed the sun.
She said, "You're fun."

And you will see,
For our love burns brightly.
We're gonna show you
How the heavens do.
And you will learn
To take your turn
And be yourself
And share your wealth
And spread your wings.
An angel sings.
An angel sings.
We are the angel sings,
We can do anything.

You Are

a kiss blended in warm linen
of delicate Texas breeze
and star-skied lemonade
your eyes,
in them reside
eternal beauty

I'd take you to the moon
just to   show you the world.
Under the night sky. Inspired to the sound of "I want You" by Bob Dylan.

I walk on black crunchy sponge
barefoot, blank-minded, bedraggled

my backdrop is violent grey, green,
then white white white

wind whips my cheeks
then calms itself, calms me

I miss my sunshine on days like this
when the weather is rough

I appreciate it the most
Memories of you linger and flicker
Over the sands of the time
In wonder I treasure those times together
When the feeling was sublime
You may be gone but not the thought
Of the love that once we knew
So when I pause to remember
In all candor, the thought of you renews
Good wishes I send — that’s all I can do
To the one in the end who loved me so true
For which I shall ever give thanks
Dearest one, I’ll think of you
At the setting of my sun
For once a upon a time
Love was all we knew
The glory of me and you
In the time when we were one

A quiet question hangs between us,
invisible like heartache,
and just as heavy.

I'm only whimpering
But I know you can hear me.

Judge me in that final moment
I deserve my childish fate
Stick in pins and I won't feel it,
Purgatory won't have to wait.
I've been there all the time we've talked,
I called you from its darkest bank.
You didn't know my disposition,
Drowning, further still I sank.
It's okay to doubt my heart —
A piteous thing with little nerve.
It blisters in the fire, it sickens,
Your scorn is all that I deserve.
So take care and walk away,
I hope good fortune finds you soon.
Leave me with my tilted mind,
Howling underneath the moon.
I've said goodbye so many times.
She’s all sawdust inside,
spark a match and she burns

for days

and says,

This last longer than our love
our love burns out
and we’re left praying to the blues and whites
our salvation in these fickle flames.
