his stare was enough
to melt my heart
that isn't too tough

Delaney
You told me my words were like cold, sweet milk,
flowing so elegantly into your mouth
on a hot summer's day.
But, I guess, somewhere along the way,
you became lactose intolerant.

(d.d.b)
You cause me a fever
and
I sweetly burn
I perspire until my dehydration makes it lovely
to be soaked
in your drenching passion.

I am living
in the fantasies

I dream up
in my head
I am your moon, child,
Ancient and bright in seas
Of tranquility, I circle the stars
Waiting for you, white skin, red
Hair, long, light strands from Mars,
The night is blue and black, so deep,
Radiant as any dark continent, ******
Into sky, as plain as surrender my sun,
To lust upon.  I trust your hot hands will
Conquer in vacuums, I am true understand,
Our eyes could set moons to flame, I know,
That you know, I am here, forever, waiting,
In the deepest, vast, wastelands of space
And time, in sight of a great blue ocean,
Worlds of dream, of yours and of mine.
I am ashamed of my love for you
when all of the earth is denied
but without you

(& oh, how I live without you)

I am compiled
I'm:
undersupplied

sleeping beside
a mirage of sleeping next to you
this constant reprieve

I'm being denied response
denied life
denied pride
self deprived
watch me, deny grief
I deny I
so many times
like time denies life
then I deny me

oh
p l e a s e

have me
so I can find *s l e e p
Ahhh the scent of her
voice

as if sound could be
a perfume

her limbs scattered
all over the unmade bed

like a puppet
whose strings have been cut

or now a starfish
stranded in the rock pool

of these crumpled
sheets

licking her naked
clavicle

with the tip of his
pointed tongue

reciting Éluard to her
proud left ******

"...for you are made...no
fashioned for...

nothing but
love and sleep."

or something such
( it doesn't matter much )

only the poetry
of such kisses.
Some girls were stars,
But she was the universe
I wanted my hand in hers

Her glow was that of comets
And her heart was the sun
Her light you could never outrun

The Big Bang occurred in my heart
And instead of galaxies there was love
Through the universe my heart was shoved

She was light-years of work
I couldn't stop thinking of her face
But what remains in my hand is space
This is what my work looks like when done at 4 AM.
