M Eastman Nov 2014
Home that isn't
Is full of spiders
What do they eat
I'll sweep them up
Until it's lovely
Again
M Eastman Nov 2014
There's a town
It glitters with light
In a valley with walls
That sharply ***** heavenward
Into vicious triangular teeth
Covered in snowpack
And ancient spines
M Eastman Nov 2014
I came upon a wood
Where no birds pierced the air
With their song
I feel the wind
On my skin
But not its howl
I sat near a rushing water
Whose torrents flew undamned
White foaming by
In silence
M Eastman Nov 2014
Bottled stars
And extinguished constellations
Melting heat
Warming welcome
Dangerous sparks
Bottomless pain
Hidden behind
Blue shifting tundras
struggling for purchase
So blue
They'll pierce you to the core
Of your being
M Eastman Nov 2014
I'm laying in a half filled
Inverse boat
The other half is
Filled up
With thoughts
M Eastman Nov 2014
Someday this
Will be quotes
On a calendar of cats
M Eastman Nov 2014
I'll return
To our tree
And remember
What your hands
Feel like
In mine
