make it stop
these awful thoughts
when i think i can
they say you better not
when i feel safe
they ask are you sure
until i find
i'm not anymore
when i trust myself
they wait for me
to fall back into my
many insecurities
they want me to fail
because they feed on my fear
they like when i fall
love the taste of my tears

Melody
Roses,
Highlight my bruises.
Sunflowers,
Illuminate Hidden confessions;

Softly,
Like petals;
I roam from wonder to another
Yet Swiftly
I vanish.
Brown and furry
Caterpillar in a hurry,
Take your walk
To the shady leaf, or stalk,
Or what not,
Which may be the chosen spot.
No toad spy you,
Hovering bird of prey pass by you;
Spin and die,
To live again a butterfly.
January cold desolate;
February all dripping wet;
March wind ranges;
April changes;
Birds sing in tune
To flowers of May,
And sunny June
Brings longest day;
In scorched July
The storm-clouds fly
Lightning torn;
August bears corn,
September fruit;
In rough October
Earth must disrobe her;
Stars fall and shoot
In keen November;
And night is long
And cold is strong
In bleak December.

Unpolished Ink
Oil on the water

Gentle spilling colours

Tumbled greens and inky blues

Fade to yellow and pinky hues

Filling the puddle

A requiem for rainbows
Even rainbows have to die sometime
Cherry blossoms bloom
On the magnificent trees
Bend over the pink picket fence

Reflection of the sun
In the glassy forest lake
Glints with a silver sheen

The sun is hazy, and the sky sometimes
Turns to a shade of cherry pink
A lovely cheer it brings

Misty roads, lead to old town stores
Prepping up indoors
for the tourists soon at their door

Mid-November
Ushers in the festival
Cherry blossom pink
Inspired by a Facebook post
Cherry blossoms festival held in Shillong,, Meghalaya
In the month of November

I don't mind
Working in the rain.

It makes coming home
More of a special occasion.

Sometimes I smile
Through a wet beard,
And think about how
Good my bed will feel.

Along with the morning mists
The tender leaves gently  uncurl
Soak in the first rays of the Sun
Listen closely to the dew
And its translucent views
Up in the mists
Rolls the voice of the soul
Behold

I don't know if I can't cry
because I don't miss you anymore
or because I'm so used to the pain
that it numbs my heart

my love for you is as leaky as a faucet,
destined to never stop-
one drop at a time
till I lose my mind
I wish I could cry- because then at least I would feel alive
Instead I am empty inside
