She told you she was afraid of flying
So you grasped her hand tightly as you both jumped and wings sprouted from your backs

She told you she was afraid of commitment
So you sat back and waited patiently while showing her warmth and love

She told you she was afraid of falling
So you held her close while off the ledge you both fell. Making sure it would be you who first hit the ground
One day

Speak the truth however bold
Speak what lies inside the hearts folds
Do not fear the pain it may cause
Live the moment, do not once pause
Take the chance and feel free
Speak from the heart so it can be
Forget the cowardess you feel
One minute of bravery can dispell the ills
If you feel it may cause you disdain
Remember true beauty rises from pain
15 seconds of courage is all you need..

i spent september in a bush of ghosts.
so sad, the trigonometries of innocence.
and the calculations of love.

the ghosts spoke to me, and said,
time is a quivering blanket.
your professor could not explain
why the crows follow nothing across the field
or why water spirals when it is disturbed.
all these things
left me, without question, perturbed.

Floating out in infinite space
Far above the sadistic human race
Drifting in the cosmic flow
No knowing which way I'll go
But I'll be free
As the galaxies

Way past Neptune
Out in space I'll be immune
From sadness and corruption
Way out there, there will be no interruption
From my happy thoughts
From all I forgot

I'll keep on sailing through all the galaxies
I'll do as I please
I'll dive into the stars
Resurface by Mars
Backstroke through the cosmos
I will swim to the utmost

Will I come back
To feeling like I lack
I doubt it
Not without a fit
A fight
Till this world fits right
Till then
You find me on a heavenly wind
I might never come back again
Unless it's on a whim

A cookie cutter version is what this world wants
So my wild messed up ways I flaunt
You can try to figure me out
As in your face I shout
I'm not like the rest, I never will be
You look but don't see
The uniqueness in me
Theres no other that comes close
No one can make that boast
They ask why can't you be like the rest
Well.....I really don't want to be secound best

The ecstasy was profound
burning through limb and pore-
attached to the ground,
bound by its core.

Pulling away the joy
circulated through her form
smiling at the boy
now depleted and worn.

Into the crimson surfeit
lust enters
a burst of borrowed intimacy
until the blanching rust
of familiarity
slows the soft flow of love.

into all lust enters
dying with the first light...............

this city breathes.
she dances on the doorstep,
she whispers in your ear,
this city breathes.
this city is her own oyster of fortune, misfortune.
this city stops,
she abandons the light,
she lies with the night,
this city sleeps.
she is a secret that is not yours to keep,
she is a violet bruise of ecstasy,
she is a smiling face of melancholy.
this city breathes.
don't get too close, please

heartbreak comes naturally for some, Groundhog Day of the heart.
sometimes I wish that I could lose feeling,
I wish I could be ignorant.
hate is always a strong word
but dislike is far too tame,
for you are a parasitic pendulum
in the grandfather clock of my forehead,
you swing back and forth hitting the walls of my skull like a migraine and no amount of painkillers can dull your presence,
you are the excruciating epitome of an extinct euphoria
and I tell myself that things are getting better
but I realize you wear a necklace of bullets,
each one with a motive to pierce my elation and engulf itself in my pity.
the bullets stay close to your heart, just as I wish I could.

There is good and bad in every individual walking the earth, Race and and location does not define one's own worth
Everyone walking the earth has an individual personality, it doesn't matter what race, country or state they belong to.
