If I could love
the limping
ugly
afraid
part of me
That I drag through the mud
and thorns

If I could let
the transparent
clawing
screaming
silhouette speak
Instead of kicking it
into the basement

If I could put
my deepest human essence
onto paper
for everyone to see

Then.
Then, I could be free.

Knowing my relationship with my mother will never be the way it should be doesn't really bother me, but knowing my little siblings won't even have any relationship with you breaks my heart. Mom, I've learned how to live without you but they shouldn't have to. They need you, you should be there. You used to say kids come first, I guess you've forgotten.

the city was asleep
while i was awake
among myself but beside others

the milky moon watched
as i listened in
to the sound of a nearby open mic

i looked to the inky sky
only to find myself
feeling nothing but the absence of light

i felt myself waiting
and searching
for something seemingly impossible and inevitable

the streetlights blinded me
and i soaked
in my own exhaustion and loneliness fueled by the night
a cheesy poem i wrote over the summer and rediscovered

I remember bottling up the beach for you since you've never been.
To you it's just sand.
It was more than just sand to me
Sometimes I just wish I could sink into the void inside of me, detach my soul from every part of me so I become a lifeless body.
So I can seep away from existence, fall into myself, and never see the light of day again, never be afraid that it will be burn me
Again.
It's been a while since I've written.

She dances like a diamond in the wind
And sings like a symphony of birds
She knows the ways of Magick
And how to Summon Shadows
with her words
Her blades are like a part of every limb they are attached to

In every town, she is found
Enchanting
The Raven-Haired Metal Maiden
Wilder Lore is always born all around her
But no matter where she goes, she never stays long

Silver Girl in the Circus of the Moon

Her Kiss of Steel, most deadly
As Swift and Silent as she is Serene
Seductive & Bloodthirsty
She Slays with Grace like a poison dream
One look can **** you faster than a dagger to the throat
But she prefers to Wage her Wars through the Sorcery of Notes

In every town, she is found
Enchanting
The Raven-Haired Metal Maiden
Wilder Lore is always born all around her
But no matter where she goes, she never stays long

Silver Girl in the Circus of the Moon

Lowborn or High
Of All who might Fight
None will Survive

One look can **** you faster
Than a thousand burning arrows
One song will make you hers
For better or for worse
One dance can mean disaster
Or a majestic miracle
She can be a Blessing
And she can be the Curse
