Dust, sand, pepper, I'm not too sure
Which went into my eyes but I'm tearing furiously
Through my blurred vision, I saw another
In the dark corner, with her knees to her chest
Hands covering her face
In the dark she wept
Was it you I saw or is this my reflection?

skipped along singing
came upon a bird, dead

what is this thing
death?

in the path of a child

death is not for the child
my child

keep skipping
keep singing
I fill my heart
I fill my heart with you
when there is only blue
and everything is hollow

I grab a star
I grab a star for you
what would you have me do
I will always follow

we sail
into the open Sea
the Sky
the only blue I see
your eyes
they are the first to see
me
they are the first to see
me

you came along
you change the colors too
what a thing to do
when everything is  hollow
I like to take songs and play with the words on occasion. This might be better if you sing 'Yellow' instead of a straight read. Ha! Ha!
Finding love
where only lust resides
is like
stopping the moon's pull
on the oceans' tides.
The best way for me
to describe
the demise
of our marriage
is an out-of-body experience.
I watched helplessly
as it all fell apart.
your split-lipped compliments are
boulder-heavy with caramel
undertones,
while i’ve got my basic stardusted
collarbones
and dancing fingertips;
ink stained and lust-conforming.

you’re stitching your ideas
onto my cerebellum,
and as i cry ‘foul!’
you fly away like
you’re free.
spit speckled with blood
and my dna,
you laugh and cry and kiss
like you’re mine.

dreams are growing
like wild flowers, and babe they
make me itch for some sort
of way
to alleviate the pain.
but people claim,
that these moments
we spend are never going
to be more
than little discomfort
and i dare say
that they’re wrong.

my body is not weather proof.
it will wash away
in the rain,
so hold me under your umbrella
and keep me
by your side,
because that way
if all else fails
we’ll wash away
together.
it's a bittersweet symphony this life.
If I ever lose my house of words
In the bleak land of asleep flowers,

Read me the map of love
Sing me the silhouettes of life
For the sake of the blood we moulded into shape.

As the moon inside this head
Always will reflect
The sunbeams of your tangible thoughts.

So I listen to the sweet melody,
That reminds me of you,
That slow love song,
That got me hooked on blues,

The soft beat of the drum,
And the silence after every piano key,
That low fading hum,
That brings you closer to me,

I listen to the music,
And the words beneath each rhyme,
I listen to the voice and lyrics,
To set me free from the cage of time,

I listen to each instrument,
That comforts me when you're gone,
Help me in each passing moment,
Till that time you come home,
