First touch
First kiss,  bliss
I lick my lips
The tension releases
This feeling I feel
A sickness
This desire builds
All this touching
Still can't get my fill
Craving that look
Of passion in your eyes
Your disguise,
The satisfaction
Of friction,  sweat
Dripping between crevaces
Following the path
The moisture leaves a trail
To the bottom of the ocean
Explosion
Keep going
To the flame inside
It burns,  for you
Steady and hard
I feel this hunger
Quench my thirst
A slow and soft kiss,
First
Then it's just enough
The volcano erupts
Fall down,  bliss
It all started
With one sweet kiss

Like superman to your batman
I actually got power
Power with ink,
Power with flow
Don't even blink
I'll make your mind blow

Like my cape to your batmobile
How does it feel?
Knowing I can fly,
You just spinning your wheels
Throwing around money
While I'm saving the world

Like my Lois Lane to your Robin
I'll actually get the guy
You sitting there cryin
Cause money don't but happiness
Neither does fame
Just writing what I feel
And you'll never be the same

My Clark Kent to your Bruce Wayne
Might as well just give up
Cause you'll never be me
I'm just made of stronger stuff
Its the end of the line
Especially for you
Maybe it's time
To figure out what else you can do...
Was a poetry challenge to write about a superhero,  this is what I came up with.  Tell me what you think?

She cries late
                  every night
     Turns off all the
                           lights
         Sits in bed
bawls
             her eyes out
      in the dark
Cutting out pieces
      of her heart
No one can see
                          the scars
           of her sewing
back up her chest
       Soon she will be
             an empty shell
        Hopefully
                    putting her soul to rest
If her heart
                    is no longer there
It can't get broken,
              right?
If no one can see
                          the tears
Then she never cried,
                     right?

Ink is in my
        blood,
    My heart
         and
        My soul.

Poetry flows
     Through me
       Promise
You'll Never
       Let it
            *Go...

We hadn't been together too long
Must have been all of a while
There was some narcotic in her laughter
Lord she had whiskey in her smile
I got so intoxicated
I got far too liquored up
and nothing goes down smoother
than a woman's smile from a velvet cup
So when I saw the chance I took the shot
Tied our hearts in a lovers knot
But we wound up in a painful spot
In a house that love forgot ...

I said you're really getting to me
She said this will **** the kids
I told her this was gonna haunt her
She told me it already did
You know one thing leads to another
Before you know it years have passed
And with the feelings all but gone now
You know the family just won't last
So when I saw the chance I took the shot
Left the house that love forgot
But I wound up in a painful spot
With my heart in a lovers knot

As she sobs in the night,
Her parents start another fight.
As she hears the screams,
She sits alone and weeps.

The fighting has now stopped,
And her crying starts to cease,
When her innocent tears dry,
Her mom walks in and speaks.

I'm sorry that made you cry,
He means not what he says,
You know we both love you,
She swears wiping the little girls eye.

As her mom leaves the room,
Daughter is all settled down,
Until she hears a door slam,
Then her dad walks in and says.

Stop crying right now you "stupid little brat,"
You know we don't care if your feeling that sad,
Struggling to get up, you hear a big smack,
She is back on the floor, her face blue and black.

He kicks her, then swears, then yells really loud
"No one loves you here, so get out of this house."
The very next day she tries to run away,
But her dad soon finds out and it begins all again.

That day was the same, yet different in many ways,
All I will say is that poor little girl, just faded away.

Now she is in heaven,
Her mom really sad,
Her dad doesn't care,
He ended her life so bad.

Her mom was so sad that she went for a drive,
Her behind the wheel, and the dad by her side.
All of a sudden the car lost control,
Then went over a cliff,
On purpose I know.

Now she too is in heaven, her little girl by her side,
The dad never made it
With them into the clouds.
Although all three have died
Just wanted to say this did not happen to me or anyone that I know. I write poems about subjects that I feel strongly about and I believe that no man should ever harm a women or child.
