the invasive species
is rendered harmless
temporarily
by the weight of their berries
but don't you worry
in case you forgot
the thorny vines will explore
once more
when the fruit rots
God save the Queen,
and **** the NHS.
***** the poor,
revere the wealthy.
Business is good;
the population; unhealthy.
Your  life's duty to the nation;
Work, spend and copulation.

With currency the cutlery,
to carve the nation up.
We have no choice but to
sip  the poison sup.
Turn weak on weak,
Anger from frustration.
In the cold cold heat of
the cruelty of this nation.

******* the Queen,
and save the NHS.
Give the wealth,
to one and all.
Heed this call;
what we need today.
Is to take back power;
so we can give it away!
Come from expecting

You expect your husband to do laundry on his day off
Instead he plays golf
Disappointed

You expect to get the promotion
There was never a notion
Disappointed

You expect a raise
All you hear is nay's
Disappointed

You expect an I love you
Because you thought it was due
It does not happen
Never just in passing
Disappointed

You expect an A on the test
Because you did your best
Instead an F
Disappointed

You expect the kids to clean their mess
You pick up the rest
Disappointed

You expect flowers
You wait for hours
None
Disappointed

You expect great ***
You leave perplexed
Disappointed

You expect your date to be on time
All you can hear is the clock chime
Disappointed

Expectations
Lead
to
Disappointments
A world of expectations
Filled with disappointments
Go with the flow
Then who cares about the no's
Another  day  is  over.
Another  day  is  done.
This  week  went  past  so  quickly.
This  week  went  by  so  fast.
My  life  has  gone  so  quickly.
Old  men  told  me  so.
And  now  I  tell  the  young  men.
That  life  to  quickly  goes.

Keith  Wilson.  Windermere.  UK.  2016.
You're everywhere, man.
I just can't get away.
There when I'm sleeping ,
and at the break of every day.
Hanging in my time,
matching every word I say.
You're everywhere, man.
I just can't get away.

You're everywhere, man.
please just go away.
Take your hand of my wallet!
Get You're you out of my way.
Scrounging a living from
my worth each day.
You're everywhere, man.
please just go away.

When I'm shaving you're
hand is holding the razor steady.
While watching TV you give
me a running commentary.
While Looking in the mirror,
you look on bitterly.
Is there something wrong,
am I not worthy?

You're everywhere, man.
I just can't get away.
In my clothes and shoes,
using the same brands as I use.
Sharing my breath and heart beat too,
I'll curse each day I'm with you.
But I just can't get away.
We are I, yes  that's true.
But I don't want any part of you.
You're everywhere, man.
It just won't do.
You're everywhere, man
I don't want any part of you.
I'm waiting
for the day
we stare
into the night,
with our fingers
interwined.

Again.
this day is full of possibilities
by which i determine my fate
i can choose to take these chains off
but i secretly enjoy their weight

can't come up short
miss by just a smidge
burdens are a gift
my only privilege

so i shift into neutral
let the engine idle
these words mean nothing
so i leave them untitled
