Don't go outside on December 31st
Don't go outside at 11:59 pm. Just
Don't go outside for cigarettes
Or round the corner for a pack of beer
Don't go outside even for a drink
Otherwise, that evening
If you step out of that door, for sure
You'll come back next year.

It is time you faced that abomination.

You don't need to be secretive about it;
You falter on the mere embrace of shame.

The frightening realisation that was brought forth
When you stumbled on the playground of greed.

The pestering of hands that point and eyes that stare
Bridled to your chest with lust for the meek.

On the edge of time you stood, floudering in a haze
To cope with the piercing daze of vertigo

Thus I ask to abolish that hurt
To call your empty heart and let go.

From that very moment, I just wanted to die
However, I saw your smile
It radiated through my lonely heart.
I was warmed, I was delighted
You became my reason to live,
My child.
Teenage pregnancy, it's hard. But don't give up! It is a blessing!

Heart and pride that remains strong in a human while
facing other matters knowing you could get between,
The legs of female that creates life, your faith in
women are isolated , you cant do right,
Don't let enemies avoid your pride , cause you to do suicide,
blame all your family members that didn't reside,
Mad at the world cause you simply can't provide,
keep fighting,
everybody knows the government will keep trolling,
they tell us keep looking for a light but nothings brightening,
especially for a black man ,
a good man,
that let the system and the drugs take hand,
forgiveness is something the law enforcers don't understand,
We came up off of poverty, don't tell a man that he can't,
its a sticky situation that'll never end.

Via Moore
The hills,
Dusted with motherly oak trees
And invasive weeds,
Roll beneath my feet
Until they sink into the
Depths of the shimmering bay.
The gracious murmurs of the waves
Caress the sweet land I love while
Spreading outward till my vision can't
Encapsulate it.
I transport into its glittering kingdom
For as long as my moment lasts.
I blink back to my stake atop my hills,
Gazing over the expanse of my home
As if through a portal of the
Map I authored
Or which authored me.
With the cool breeze in the
Golden-streaked clouds
Against a darkening sky,
I watch my home melt away
Into a new beginning.
Why would I ever leave this place? Sadly, my new beginning commences somewhere else.
Please wake up and smile at me
Like  you used to be all spunky
Full of fire, ready to call a liar a liar
And a crook a crook, throw the book
At fakes and phonies, only to glad
To whisk the mad out of office
And write an essay to protect us.

Please wake up and laugh aloud
At the proud and haughty, Lordy
Could you ever laugh at bigots
And idiots and creeps in the world.
Protect boys and girls everywhere
And do your best to scare away
The bearboos under their beds.
Now you sleep instead and it hurts.

It hurts not to hear you rant and rail
At those who fail to serve and protect,
Reject their apostasy and hypocrisy
While they endlessly spread their enmity
Treating good people like the enemies
And send money to those who do attack,
Resources we can never get back
All because it makes them money.
You never found that funny, did you?

So, I beg you. Please wake up and stay
Stay with us who need you, all of us;
All of us who care and love when you share.
So let me remind you, fate has consigned you
To lie there and rest your head too long
But that bed would be better less time.
To lose you would be a crime we can’t bear.
We need you here, as before. We implore
All the good luck and prayers go your way
And you rise up and walk again today.
Life is a wonderful journey to travel
This journey is better traveled with a friend
I was born on the East coast
I have lived most of my life on the West coast
In between life, you will make many stops
My other family is in New York and Puerto Rico
I also have family in Florida and Connecticut
I myself live in Los Angeles, California
My daughter was born in Vallejo, California
I will die in California
This has been a wonderful journey
I hope that my journey, that we call life, never ends
