beautiful as ever
your voice still resonates
within the depths of my soul

i woke up from a bad dream and the first thing i thought of when i woke up was
the strong want of wanting to hear your voice.

Love is
slow
Love is
patient
Love is
not perfect

Love is
warmth
Love is
like a movie
but without the music

Love is
strength
Love is
telling them when their wrong
but never controlling

Love is
breakfast in bed
Love is
crying together
but never making each other cry

Love is
getting that bug out of their hair
Love is
their friends and family
but never keeping them from them

Love is always strong than hate
Just a little poem about what love is and isn't, realistic sentences and views
we were poor
but not deluded

and when
van morrisson's
"brown eyed girl"
comes on the radio on
that worn
old
brown rug
my brother and I
started tapping our feet
shaking our heads
to the music and
our sisters are smiling
at us and
our mother is laughing
at us

and all we needed was
laughter and love
a prayer and a song

turn up the radio

Can I please
Be something more
Than empty
Just a bit.
Roses may be red,
But I'm always blue.
Someone could show me paradise,
And I'll see a grotesque view.

Roses may be red,
But sometimes I'm blue.
I'm aware of the sunlight,
And I'm slightly warmer too.

Roses may be red,
But I'm feeling less blue.
I've met you, extraordinaire,
A palette of colors, anew.

Roses may be red,
But I'm no longer blue.
You brought paradise to me,
Because paradise is you.
love poem
"where love is a wave that splashes on the sand"

when a heart
loves
the stars surrender
to the heavens,
the moon catches her breath
and the avenues
of silence become
voice. i follow the
path to my love,
i die for him,
i live for him,
like a spartan
in the heat of battle,
like a flower in the
mist.
