Sabbathius
Traversing fields of ice and barren lands
Accursed woods so dark and torrid sands
Returned have I, with nothing on my hands
To nothing more than simply make amends

I kept on following the brightest star
Up there it shined undimmed like a cigar
Across those mountains I have ventured far
The struggle, with my strength was not on par

I've faced the cold, I've been through hell and back
I've been so close to have an heart attack
These wounds around my arms, my legs, and neck
Have dripped along, they left this ****** track

Tendeth thee my ailing ills?
I have all lost my way and will
Yet in me lies a passion still
Some fast heart thumps that I can feel
Perhaps desire or the thrill
To happiness in me fulfill

Nothing has to be done
Open that door and run

Stress is staying behind
Today be no more blind
Run in the direction of your heart
Expel the nonsense and be smart
Stress is a curse when nearby
Say to stress forever goodbye

Why do poets always talk about the ocean's waves,
about their single file march to shore,
and yet never talk about my grandmother's farts,
which arrive in time, one after the other, with equal
     regularity?

Are these poets too holy to comment on anything
less than nature's flashiest gestures?
Are we going to spend another millenia searching
for meaning in sunsets and waterfalls?

Or will we finally turn our ear to Grammy's ****
and away from all that pretty stuff,
and hear that foul, muted trumpet sing,
marking the end of an era?

Hands

hands are such unique features in our bodies.
i mean,
hands can let us feel what we can't see. they have been our guide and support even in darkness.
hands make music. fingers pluck guitar strings and strong hands hold drum sticks
hands can describe our feelings when we speak. we use it to emphasize more of what we say in our everyday.
hands are for love. we have used it for holding others people's hands and let them feel what they are supposed to feel.
hand are also for hate and anger. the clenched fists we used to do in times of rage.
hands are for art. the way they hold brushes and give life through strokes of ink and paint.

but my hands haven't known yet what they are for.
these hands never understand
what story it can tell someday.

I would say I love you but I taught myself not to love things that leave.

And for the first time
I feel less alone
And for the first time
I can call this home
so i had this best friend, every hug and embrace shared with him is just undeniably great

make it ******
make it look like you're happy

make the smile reach the eyes
show it from where the love lies.

how can this love be so wrong?
when all i want is be with you any minute
be a fan of your ridiculous jokes
because all i want is to laugh with you

all i want is to hold your hands
and dance with you
in rhythm of our high school dance theme song

all i want is to be beside you
when you make any moment the most of it.

hell, i know it's wrong
now i see you holding her.

But at some point you smiled,
And *******,

Love is not a choice.
