I admire those who aren't caught in traps
Who can commit themselves to something else
And not feel trapped by the weight

Because time doesn't matter if you're content
And nothing is ever wasted if never spent

I admire those who don't fear their own fate
But embrace the fact that they've embraced
It's bound to happen after all...

Awakening

We want to dream
Because we think
That dreams will give us meaning

But when we wake
And see the day
No dream was worth believing

The only thing
That matters still
Awaits upon awaking

Because nothing
Added ere by dreams
Will ever be for keeping
This reads like a toast by firelight. Goodnight!

Be like the wind

You are the wind

You don't bend or break

No procedures are in place for you

Run up against it, flow around

Not out of strength

But out of the hush

Out of the whistle

Out of sound

The wind is nothing

The wind is everything

More than anything that could ever be built

Because the wind will always be

Around

In every lung and every city

Whipping through the whistlers town
"New obsession, next depression" is well said!

~for Pradip~

these words,
a blessing bestowed
upon me, by you,
about us

say kiss me write love me
for all the contextual hints that lie
within and between them ~
"gloriously adhesive"

a monument to our five years
of living together,
the friction of our grip upon each other,
under one roof, in a land of
no matter
what the language,
what the alphabet,
we are the prime,
a living example,
of the human~poem,

our glorious adhesion!

<•>
from only love poetry,
I rename you here,
only love Pradip

whisper me a title (you, the acquired taste):

Acquired taste,
for a habit sweetly indulgent,
gloriously adhesive.

The devastating beauty in the melodies
the words, each note
of every song I listen to
that remind me of you -
They bring back the dreams of years gone by.

How many years have gone by
in which I pined for you
lying awake at night,
eyes burning, glued to the ceiling
long before a phone was glued to my hand.

And I thought that I knew love.
And I had all and then some of you -
and my heart was in Ohio.

Miserable, and stunning.

And no secret to myself or any stranger,
My heart never belonged to me.
It was always hundreds of miles away,
Waiting for love's first touch
To bring me back to life.
