Your born ,you blink
soon ten ,blink again
You scuffle in the playground
cos someone said you stink,
In a second,your twenty,
Did you notice the blink,
Find the girl of your dreams
Blink ,the baby it screams,bottoms
to change ,school to arrange,
Oh the school clothes, so *****,
god you blinked,  your thirty,
career is going great ,expensive holidays ,
were running late, quick kids get on the plane,
now your forty ,blinked again,
your wife has gone, through your neglect,
was bound to happen ,what the heck ,hit the bottle
a quick snifty  ,**** you blinked ,your 50
now your a Grandad ,proud as punch,
take the family out to lunch ,a new lover on your arm,
blink It"s big sixty ,no alarm,
you feel haggered and so worn ,through your life time has torn
but you have money ,yes you have plenty
will see you through ,blink your seventy.
In hospital see the lights, on what is your final night,
now you make your last blink ,hope this poem made you think.

Sit alone with your thoughts for just ten minutes. You might realize that there is nothing scarier then what crawls around your mind.

The Boy's Balloon

A balloon cast astray by the wavering hand of a child
Who wishes to know the latex orb filled with helium can fly
But in the moment of segregation between the tips of his small fingers and the floating object's delicate string
He discovers regret for the first time in his short life
The feeling that will haunt him far past his young years and into adulthood
Yet, it's only in these latter years of his life
That he'll also discover he is envious of his abilities as a boy
For he could let go then, easier than ever
And today, he is forced to grasp his wife's bony fingers with a wrinkled hand of his own
As today, the only delicate strings in life are the wires and tubes that travel through her
In this moment he realizes he must travel back in time
To relearn how to release his balloon
As he wishes for nothing more than to let her fly in peace
But he doesn't possess the strength to watch her float away
A story of a man from his childhood, then into his late adulthood, as he realize's how children who can let go of balloons possess the most courage. He must let his dying wife pass, but he doesn't possess a child's ability to let go anymore.

Cross legged
sitting in lotus pose
she blushes,swells
a white lotus
before the rising sun.
Palms are pressed
together in front
in a "Namaste"
to the divine, present
in everyone.
He is now just
some other, no special
eyes while closing tell.
How 'yoga' with the
higher self could  exclude
amour's special privilege?
Adamant to reclaim it
between  points of twin buds
his eyes vacillate,
her eyes closed shut, still
moves, lids peel a bit
lips curl and sent a hiss
like a hearty exhale
it sounded "decedent"
Nama(bow)+Te(you)--"Namaste"(meaning I bow the divine in you)
Yoga--join(communion with the cosmic consciousness, for which steps are totally eight, yoga postures are one among the eight)

I stare out my window
and into the rain,
at the dark clouds
filled with electricity
and watch
as the sky is illuminated
as strike after strike
is sent from within
to the world waiting below.

You’re the type of person
Who does what he says he’s going to do.
Undeniably, you have changed the lives
Of every person you’ve come in contact with.
Including myself.
You are kind and honest, and you love other people.
You love cats, and you love your family.
You’re the type of person who would help a friend
At three in the morning.
You stand up for what’s right, and you admit when you’re wrong.
You can’t stand to see me cry, but
I am not smart, no offense
I say weird things, no offense
I am weird
I know nothing, and I’m young
I am too reserved
you're friends do not like me, and I'm not the girl everyone
wanted you to be with.
If you asked, “Why do you love me?”
And needed some comfort, reassurance,
I could go on for hours. But when I asked the same,
you answered:
“I don’t know”
As you held my hand, driving to our house-to-be, our wedding-to-be, our life-to-be,
Because I can give you something another girl can’t—
Nothing.
