Rhianecdote
There is something so timeless about the sea. He stood witness to its all encompassing beauty, watchin the ebb and flow of time and life. Captured and captivated but free from all thought and all worry.

Just standin on a rock, in the bay. A plynth the sands of time had been left in a settlement between earth and ocean long ago, a viewing platform to satisfy the Seas only plea "See Me"

He stood by its shores as all others before him had and in a moment he shared in all the collected memories of humanity. Of those first souls that made it to its shores from the desert, across the sands of time to dip a foot of weary and worn down soles into its abyss yet stand still as he does, captured and captivated, to watch it wave all the hellos and goodbyes ever given in an eternity.

None knew how long they stood there for, for there was no need. Though a part of them will probably remain there always. There is something so timeless about the sea...

older men
later nights
ferry rides and a photo's sight
tight dresses
sweet guesses
lips on cheeks &
lies and messes
rain on your windows
tongues on your teeth
whiskey on your breath
daydreams of me
you feel like SATIN
but you taste like
POISON
beautifully mislead
with all but paranoia
we've got classroom
SMILES
but the things we do on bathroom
TILES
and we always stay up late
but it's all for the survival
and late nights in that apartment don't seem so
long
when all you've been doing is
singing my
SONG
and
licking your
LIPS
touching my
THIGHS
kissing my
NECK
while you say
GOODBYE
but guess which one of us said the lie
because in the morning after you said i'd be
GONE
im still here because with you nothing felt too
LONG
in the deepest and utmost corner of my heart
the pain is being hidden

and on the outside
you will witness
my sweetest smile

if only
you will catch a glimpse
behind those eyes
is the loneliness that being kept

if only
you will stop and stare for awhile
you will find out
that i am in despair

i was wondering
if the saying

"in the eyes you will see the real feelings of a person"

is true

because why can't you see?

that i am

alone

crying

and

dying

inside?*

On this day
We share the notion
That a Child
Born long ago,
Called us home
To live as children;
We hear our name,
We're not alone.

          Gather round,
          Sit at our table;
          Stretch your arms
          Increase, expand.
          Bless our children,
          Bless our parents,
          Count our Blessings
          While we can.

For today
We share believing
That the Child
From long ago,
Called us home
We are the children,
We heard our names,
Never alone.

          Gather round,
          Sit at our table,
          Stretch your arms,
          Increase, expand;
          Bless your children,
          Bless your parents,
          Count your Blessings
          While you can.

Borne on the promise
Of a notion,
On the promise
Of a seat;
By our Love
And our Devotion
To the Living Son,
Our Living Feast.

This feeling
When you can read a person
Like a book.
This feeling
When you know
What could possibly happen
And what could not.
This feeling
When you know
The truth hurts more.

Nevermind
I see you in places
I never thought I would
In buildings and streetlights
In overgrown paths through the woods
I see you in rays of sunlight
Spilling into a shadowy crevice
I see you in just about everything
Carrying you throughout all of this

The word eludes me
Because I let it.
I don't think I'm attuned to be
So in tune with these feelings.

I was grey before you
And great at hiding it
But you're a sunburst
And my greys are fighting it.

You don't just color in my lines,
You're cutting through them
Without even trying.
You silence my repining.
You're electrifying.
These feelings are a curse
And it's terrifying.

Suddenly the world is vibrant
And when the wind
Slides up my face,
It drags the corners of my lips
With it.
I see nomads wander the sky
Where clouds should be and
Trees whisper to me
The secrets of the Earth
Through their rustling leaves.

I'm afraid to know what
I feel for you
Because I think I know
What it is.
But I'll let the word elude me
A while longer.
