I fear none but see all,
My dragon comes when I call.
I control the elements upon my mind,
As they swirl within time.

I stand firm and tall,
Waving my sword in the wind.
My world is only a war,
As I fight to win.

No orders can tell me what to do,
I am a General of Skyrim.

My home is of bravery rest,
as my skills everyday,
are put to the test.

You fight for what you believe,
You die with dignity.
Honor boils in your veins,
As you try to fight free.

Freedom rings when a Warrior stands forth,
He or she shall be,
A savior to the world.

Within the World of Tamriel,
I am an Imperial Soldier,
And a Female.

Anyone can be a warrior upon strife,
Even within this war,
You can be right.

Join a side,
Choose your path.

You shall be victorious,
And will deserve a Warriors Death.

Challenge thy dragonkin now.
They will await your arrival.
Upon your dragon,
Shall become thy trial.

Tempest waves within the skies of Tamriel,
As the Dragonborn comes,
To the World of Skyrim.

"Follow your follower,
That's how Twitter works!"
That's what she told me.
Little wonder then, that
Social Media gets no one anywhere:
Fertile ground for circular arguments,
A deafening echo chamber,
Where debate is often choked at birth.
Not saying anything new!
Liquid courage to numb the pain.
Intoxicated to forget.
Offbeat blood, sent from heart to vein.
Returns with a guest, she just met.

She closes up, leaves the bar clean.
To her apartment, around three.
In bed she lays, counting some sheep,
That mock her, thinking she will sleep.
She hears the crickets’ lonely beat.
Reminding her of creeps she meets.
Sometimes they have a potential start.
But never truly go that far.

Each night dealt with some other cards.
But slowly starts to build up guard.
She puts less time in her makeup.
But drunks continue to pick up.
She joins in shots, hopes to pass out.
But in her head she hears the shouts.
Her heart’s hunger for real love.
Her clouded thoughts rise above.

A newly turned insomniac.
No longer sleeping on her back.
Till curtains peek with starry eyes.
So bright, leaves a forceful rise.
Her sobs like strings of violin.
A void no liquor can fill in.
Despite how much she tries to drown.
The aches resonate with shrill sounds.

Another night, still found no one.
A man enters, two drinks and done.
She questions him, “What is the rush?”
Always pulled into a quick crush.
But never really tends to last.
As he mumbles about his past.
A bartender, like therapist.
As alcohol reveals the gist.

Now drunk and loud, he starts to shout.
Before his crash, he raises doubt.
He talks about, the best he lost.
Always at home, waits for the toss.
She cheers him up, when in a rut.
He gets up again, “That **** mutt!
To see her hurt, curled up in bed.
I held her paw, up till her death.”

The next night, slept pretty early.
He was perfect, brown hair curly.
Her eyes were lost, but not with lust.
Enjoyed his smells, delicious must.
A piece of her, became a part.
Happy to save his sinking heart.
Rescued him, he slept on her rug.
Named Milo, her three-legged dog.

A man,
A weapon,
An armor,
This forms a warrior.

A man,
That the legends told about.

A nord,
Born in frost
Born in the blizzards
Of a place
Called Skyrim.

Now,
He has lots of titles
But most important of all
Slayer of Dragons,
The End of Alduin.

But after all
He’s a man
A man has weaknesses,
Even a warrior has fear
And the fear of a man
Is his end.
A pale sky hovered above me as I walked
Through mountains and valleys vast,
Passing folk who chattered and talked
About days of old and the past,
Of when dragons roamed freely
Bringing terror and fire and fear,
Of when people breathed heavily
Wanting life while the end was near.
“For only beasts could bring the end of man.”
Although man was one of the greatest,
Condemning kin to their bedpan,
Truly, the worst ever created.
And yet they fear the children of time!
As if marvelous creatures so divine
Could bring harm to those without crime!
Who only care to build temple and shrine!
While the true masters of mankind
Are the ones breathing fire in the sky…
Dragonborn, the last of my kind,
As I wandered, I chose who to glorify.
Decided to write this while I was listening to "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" soundtrack. Always pained me to have to slay the dragons while they're divine creatures.
She’ll lick the ashes
Break the bones
Girls like her
Don’t follow you home
Fire in pockets
Stars in hair
Chaos and storms
You’ll find her there
Beneath the trees
Under the moon
She’ll dance, swaying
To a forbidden tune
Her heart was heavy
Full of ache
Weight of the world
Enough to break
& all those bruises
Where tears would stain
She was half the joy
And half the pain
All the things blended
Becoming one
She’s burning bright
Like the sun
Not knowing
Who she should be
But the chains will rattle
When the prisoner is free

There's too many people
Who care too little
And too many people
Who "care" too much
We need more people
Who care just enough

Who say hello on the street
Who hold open doors
Who smile across counters
Who let you pet their dog
I should be asleep and here I am
All hail the internet!
The master of us all.
The one who watches day and night,
And guards the human thrall.

All hail the internet!
Our lives without are vain.
Throughout the day we worship you,
Without you life's mundane.

All hail the internet!
Your knowledge unconfined.
Forget the days of reading books,
That time is far behind.

All hail the internet!
We're now smarter and we're kind.
No one argues anymore,
About a dress they find.

Oh, forget the internet.
I can't do this anymore.
That place is twisted and corrupt.
I'd leave but there's no door.
My friend originally had this idea of "All hail the internet" and challenge me to make a poem about it. So here it is.
P.S. If you don't know what dress I'm talking about, that's good. Keep it that way.
