Gasping slowly,

Life escaping from you,

death grabbing your soul.

Waters washing over you in a new place,

Running to forever happiness or eternal suffering.

The door is open in heaven just waiting  for you to come home
to the land of anew just for you.

bending over in agony,
as silent tears fall and flow.
time to find a way to go...

no, i must learn to grow.

the vibrant plants
and talkative animals
cleared a path for her.
she followed that path
for a while, then paused.
she sat at the bank of the river
watching the leaves go by.
she placed her fears,
doubts, and troubles
onto these leaves,
whispered "goodbye,"
and let them float away.
