Salmabanu Hatim
She is but a tender seed,
Pull away your ****,
Do not sow doubts in her mind,
She is not one of your kind.

You are more.
There's something in you.
Although I know you are beat down to the core,
And you want to give up, but I am begging you not to.

It's in your eyes.
Like watching a raging fire with nothing in its way.
And you wear a disguise.
Yet it doesn't hide me from seeing your heart on display.

You try to counteract the system,
With a mind of those dancing flames, distorted images of beauty.
You're always in an enchanting rhythm.
Never out of tune within me.

Why are you so broken inside?

Even your walk tells me that you are screaming for someone to hold you.

I can tell that all the tears have dried.

Without spoken words, I already knew.

And I wish you knew that I think you're beautiful in a way.
I want you to know, but what for?
I think that you're in dismay,

Because oh my god. . .

You are so much more.

Nimbus
I can no longer hide
My soul ignited

once disparaged
I long to share it

The chills in my spine put into words

Lips on skin
Eyes filled with sin

What is this sensation

I drip colors you cannot see

Heightening my passion
Enhancing my touch

Raw emotion channeled as such

My desire aches
The color of flush
My cage breaks
Expressions of lust

I do not fear it
I can hear you blush

My favorite sound

Our souls combust
My restless soul longs for something fulfilling

She Writes
She loved him
Like hurricanes love destruction
Cleaning up the aftermath
Of their devastating relationship
He realized why storms
Were named after women like her

When it was good
It was The Best
But
It was bad, too
I can't deal with bad
When it's coming from
Any boy
Even That Boy
Hard to accept.  On total boycott, because there is no other way.  Still miss him, though.  I know he feels that too.  We broke each other's hearts.  I went crazy on him....literally, right before my anyuerism, (or however you spell that ****)  Even after all that, and I healed, he told me he lived me, and always would.  I knew he was telling the truth.  I loved him too, but he crossed some lines with my family during my stroke and recovery that are insurmountable.  And later, he crossed it with me, too.

Sjr1000
when the moon was
red
The ocean luminescent
she was a starry
eyed girl
with a northern star
and a direction to go

Epiphanies unfold
like ribbons in
the winds

Decisions
they come
in wishful
longing
or
careful planning

Throwing caution to the wind
she took the first boat to
the island.

There he waited, an
apprentice to an ancient art
Preoccupied and isolated

She of the northern
star
had a sense of
direction

Settling into a
parallel universe

They were like
two kiwi bushes
across a fence
3 years later in
vined embrace
Produced the fruit
that never ripened
and over night
was gone.

She took the
last boat back
the northern star was
encased in fog
But
the southern cross
She couldn't miss it.

Sadly Kida
Autumn colored day dreams
crash into me
Drink me slowly
like warm wine
wash me softly
your hands like the
cottony waves in the sky
kiss my skin
and leave behind
a starry night
Like smooth oils
paint me an imperfect
masterpiece

I'm not sure how to describe the color of your eyes or the sound of your voice
Your eyes are almost always bloodshot and your voice always scared to fill the silence
You have a voice but you use it sparingly so that people can't hear the pain
because Lord knows if you talked long enough, you'd spill everything
You use make-up to cover the dark circles under your eyes
being that you don't get any sleep at night
People like to think they understand you and that they know your story
but the truth is, you'll never let people close enough to let your story be known
Sure they'll get bits and pieces of your life, depending on when they came into your life
but no one will ever know the full story- you don't even know the full story

I was told today "I never would've thought she was so...amazing"
Hm
Those words rang through my mind over and over again
Until
I thought
"She doesn't know how amazing she is"
