*You wrote a romantic love poem
that loved you and me
like the flower and bee
and all this poured at the dreaming May

Now I write a sad love poem
that is again calling you, my love
and I build a tragic epitaph of love
May be it will be the end of my gleaming May

Love come to me in its romantic mode and lost with its sad,
but reminded me the gleaming of Spring ...

You don't miss me, do you?
Maybe you don't
'Cause if you do
I  can see you now
Hear your voice
Hug you
Kiss you
Sit on your lap
Cuddle me like  a baby
For you said I am your baby girl

Where are you?
You know I missed you so much
I love you no matter what
I was waiting yesterday
I am waiting now
And I will still be waiting
For you to come home...
Home is where we are together...

I am starting my day with a poem in my mind
A song in my heart
The combination is like a sweet melody
I hope they stay in Harmony throughout the day

I was there
with you
when the Nazis marched in.
I remember
the small bistro
near the arc
Mademoiselle.
We were getting smashed
on Beaujolais,
I was curling
strands of your hair
between
my cigarette fingers,
whispering love
& getting lost
in your azure eyes.
When the smoked cleared,
things were never the same.
You left early one morning
in a boxcar
& I went underground
to defeat the juggernaut.
I never got your name,
just remembered you
were such a pretty femme.

I hear your song echo in the midst of the  night
With my bare feet, I walk in the dark
Just to see you, the voice that I hear
Never care of the risks I have to bear.

Your voice guides me where I should go
The echoes are the trails and now I can see you
You tell me some stories which makes me ponder
I laugh at every humorous word while we chatter.

Who shall forget you as my caring guide?
You lead me into my world, now I don’t have to hide
For I am now complete, an artist of my kind
Your song pushes me up to take pleasure of my mind.
To the one who lead me to WC

The older I get
The less that I want
The less that I do
The more that I don't

The older I get
The less that I need
The less that I want
The more that I see

The older I get
The less that I take
The less that they offer
The more that they say

The older I get
The less time I have left
The less I admit
The more I regret

I do not love you for your smile,
So welcoming, warm and mischievous,
Or even for your special glance, so demure, meant only for me.

My love is not a reflection of some ensorcellment found in the depths of your jewelled eyes.

I do not love you for your charm,
Your wit and lust for life,
Or for the way you embrace new friends, companions and experiences.

My heart is not a slave to your every touch, bound by a witch's brew of lust, tenderness and desire.

I do not love you for your beauty,
Enchanting as you are,
Not your flawless style and grace or the way you walk a room, every eye captivated by the boundless joy that emanates from within your breast.

I just love you,
Simple as that yet all encompassing.

X
X used to mark the spot
where two hearts intersected.
X used to mark the spot
On a map where  treasure was hidden
X used to be the variable
For which I sought the solution.
X turned out like all the rest
which explains why I’m disillusioned.

Nowadays X marks the spot
Where love found its conclusion.
For all you "X"s out there who are still wondering "Y"

This love
overwhelms
short circuits my system.

Unsure how to deal,
all such new ground.

What are the rules?
How does this end?
What goes in between?

Do not trust…
so says my head.

Please…try…maybe,
says my heart.

I am a rose.
Soft petals,
subtle scent,
but get too close,
hold too tight,
and you might bleed.

Perhaps more a
Venus fly trap.
Interesting, odd,
hybrid colors,
but
keep your distance,
at arms length,
pray for safety.

All It ever knew,
all it ever learned was…
observe,
don’t let’em too close,
always retreat,
and, if they reach out
to touch…
chomp down,
liquefy,
destroy!

Your love overwhelms,
short circuits
my system.

Creates new paths,
opens doors unseen,
wraps the heart
in silk and velvet,
tenderly held
in a special place,
away from
unwanted storms,
aimed at maiming
and destruction.

Nerves grow,
reaching out
to new ground,
sprouting words and
images never
known before.

Not sure what
to make of it.

I hear again
the whispered exchange
between mind
and heart.

Mind asks,
“Can you…
should you…
trust?
What have you
learned in eons
passed?”

Heart replies,
“We can smile,
wide, bright.
A smile that reaches
the eyes,
and we can try,
can’t we…maybe…
please?”

This time
we will try.

This time,
the heart wins.

Can one ever truly, blindly trust the mechanics of something
as complex as love? Who knows.
