~~
when the silence comes down
in the darkness
the space between you and me
is just a sigh

some of the awaking words
floating in the mind
where tunes comes from
the next door

words to have come out
slowly
poetry as the whispering of
dry dropping leaves

come up in the
hopeless romantic flute
comes on the
tune of the lost love

a portrait of broken dreams,
black and white
where exists a defeated faded face
and your silhouette

Kenshō
The man who tries to prove a point
Is unsure of how sharp it is.
A man who wars with blunt arms,
Is confident in his own strength.

The man who bears armor brave,
Falls heavy into his own grave.
The man who comes naked
Is sure he will return unscathed.

But, not every warrior is the same;
And no war can be fought
In the shadow of divine aim.
who do you blame?

you used to make me smile,
now you make me sick.
crawling back to me,
with her sent fresh on your lips.
you made a mistake,
and im the ******* fool.
i miss the thrill i got from your body,
the security i felt in your arms.
now thats gone,
thrown away.
now im laying here,
wondering where the **** I went wrong.

Every response received.
Every nuance perceived.

Every phrase heard and said.
Every word written and read.

Every thought conceived.
Every emotion bereaved.

Only gets quietly swept under...
Where they moil and fester.

Fought to suppress
I really have tried.
But anxiety has made plans
to have EVERYTHING
AMPLIFIED.
Anxiety attacks debilitate.

Words slither from their mouth
The sound ripples
in her ears like the drops
of water from a lonesome cave
She decided to build a wall
and hear no more echoes

In silence,
the heart pitter- patter's
the lungs pounding... in and out
wanting to tell that she's alive,
telling her in a mute
'don't let your gutsy soul fly'

In silence,
there's too much noise

so she just decided to break the walls down as she rose from solitude.
She can still hear it, but she doesn't mind. Her gutsy soul is with her all this time ;)

We meet again;
No thunder, lightning,
Nor no rain,
But awkward,
Just the same...

Conversation turning dour,
Work complaints
Almost an hour...

Birthday wishes?

Realize a party's
Not for sighs,
Not for damning
Others' eyes,
Not a time to criticize,
Nor office lies,
Nor padding chubby thighs.

Times like this,
I realize,
It's office parties
I despise,
And pine away
For open skies.

Awkward.
Reflections on things I detest.

In a crowd of throng,
there was this lost soul
Deaf to hear the laughter
too blind to see the bliss

you could come closer
and see the hidden bleak

only him,
embraced the broken parts,
and never in her life she felt this whole.

When
cheaters and liars
rise to the top of the polls

When genocidal speech
wanna be torturers
let their goals unfold
advocating killing relatives
Something every drug lord knows

When words don't mean anything
Images are everything
When words and images disconnect
When words don't work

It's what we call psychosis
in the psych biz

We're all thinking
That can't happen here

A cousin they call Germany
Refined
Civilized
Educated
Defined art
Music
Ethics

Found out exactly what every **** head
knows when you go too far
There's gonna be advanced window patrol
Getting out the duct tape
Wrapping up the house
Can't let any light
in or out
You may end up in leather restraints
On a plastic sheet on a metal bed

America better call the crisis hotline
Stand in line for same day services

5150/Legal 2000/72 hour commitment
Being a danger to self and others
Rapidly becoming gravely disabled

Hold on, I'll write that Hold now

Bring out the atypicals
Risperdal Zyprexa Serequil
Take an Ativan
Take a Zanax
**** it take a ******

If you don't come back down now
Find the ground

You'll be okay
In a decade or three
The suffering of course
Will be burns in the third degree

Psychosis can be unkind

All civilizations have their day
Incline
Recline
Decline

It can't happen here?
Chaotic brutality knocking on the door
You gotta know what's in store

We need an intervention
Breathe it back on in
It can still be okay

Reality check

Words sometimes mean something
And people sometimes mean what they say

And though
Images dissolve
Evolve
Fracture and split

Those that are seeing and hearing
What's going on
are holding their breath
Wondering how crazy it's really all gonna get.

Unlike, anything I have ever known.
You have been.

Unlike, anything I have ever seen.
You have been.

Like something suddenly discovered.
I have discovered more about you than ever.
And it's all for the better.

Scientists couldn't figure you out.
Least what you totally about?
Cause you  a mystery force.

For all the orphans who ever wished
on birthdays, and holidays
they’d be the one that is picked
Instead of left alone in silence
with their doll at six.

The truth is I have no Father
I have
No Mother
I have no sisters, or any brothers…

I have no family just my doll
I don’t think she,
or, God can hear my prayers at all.

I need a Mother someone to watch over me
a Mother -- to comfort me, and to keep me from any harm
I want to be cradled, and held
and, to cry in my Mothers arms
I need a Mother to love me through all my storms
to tell me that there will be sunshine up ahead soon
heading toward my rocky shores
I need a Mother to give me guidance like a light
to give me hope, and love during all my darkest nights.

For all the orphans who live in this world today
who have just a doll to listen to what they have to say...
You're not alone because I am just like you
My heart is always with you -  forever, and a day.

Friends, there are many(I think, I hope). So, to be fair, I will respond with this.

"Stricly an Opinion"
October 20, 2014   8:40a.m.

On August 28, 2013, strictly as a novice, and not having posted anything, anywhere, I posted my first two pieces of "literary art" on the HP site. I had previously searched other similar sites until finally deciding on posting with HP. I'm glad I did.  Why?

Not knowing what to expect, I threw "1894", and "Folklore and Fairy Tales" into the "mixing bowl". Pradip and Sally were the first to comment, and I will never forget the encouragement their words gave me. Never! Quite often, I go back and re-read them, particularly when I get a little discouraged when the "writers block" syndrome decides to attack. Thank you both, so very, very much!

But that is the core of the HP Family. There is an aura, a special atmosphere of cohesiveness among its contributors, willing to offer(in most cases) constructive criticism without being cynical, and always encouraging each other. Making friends whom we may never see, whose hands we may never shake, but a friendship none the less, that is spread throughout the globe, with the thoughts that will always be there. It is a feeling I did not sense with other sites.

One thing is for certain. We never know what our readers are going to like/dislike on any given day. When we post a piece, of what we may think is the work of "pure genius" could go by the wayside in seconds. On the other end of the spectrum, what we believe is not so great, could trend in minutes.

We will keep trying.
