For within the veil of darkness
where shadows dance in place of light
Searching for answers…lost smiles
along a curved road of desperation…I reach for your hand

You, my anchor, my beacon of light
shine down on me this day
call my name over roars of bitter sorrow
so that I may chase its echo back to you

And of this night I sing your name
melodic whispers upon a moonbeam
slowly peering through a saddened haze…parting
illuminating the silhouette of your beauty

Then we shall dance upon stardust
our arms and hearts entwined
no more by darkness captured,
your loving hand in mine

Now as we touch I find this light is not of me,
not of moon glow shimmering on the mist,
nor stars twinkling on a velvet night, it glows of your smile
which I have so longed to see…once again

You have bestowed me with the indelible ink
And the pen dipped in it, flows effortlessly
Writing passionate words, in the pristine white
Pages, which are the canvas, of your faith in me
The supreme surrender to my muse
And I have been gifted with the freedom to emote
My inner feelings, completely exposed
As you are me, and I am you, our soul coalesced
As the passion has reached a crescendo
And the final ****** has reached a frenzied culmination

Floating... in the dream state of a conscious mind,
picturing hibiscus ribbons in sweet chocolate hair,
happily smiling along mockingbird whispers, melodically
heard deep within our hearts…we imagine

Our gondola, of painted daisies and wildflower song
drifting silently upon uncharted thoughts and desires
Capturing a sunbeam glowing from your smile
I hold it close…softly to my chest

Warmth filters beyond any worries, comforting fears
Resting my hand in yours, gazing into your eyes
as illumined affection ignites a passion
reflecting azure skies, still unprepared for your beauty

Sadness which once danced in our paths,
raining tears on wilted cheeks has led us to an intersection,
a new avenue to travel, closer to any wish
of four leafed clover descent resting in our pockets

And I feel safe, for these arms of satin wonder
drape my soul with a gentleness I have not before known,
born of friendship and deep admiration...we imagine
and we realize our imagination is not this…for this is real

I’ll

my
passion.

From your love fountain
You offered the charmed drink
Only to be intoxicated
As I slowly drown in you

You may feel, your voice gets lost
In this vast universe, amidst space
The wind, the trees, the birds, and animals
Are, all listening to you patiently
The mountains, seas, rivers and creeks
Along with the wind, takes your thoughts
To the most remotest and distant places
The sun mitigates the pain with its brightness
Rains are your companion, when your heart weeps
Winters are there when your emotions are frozen
But, the snow preserving the ‘real you’ intact
Spring is the harbinger of hope, and flower blooms
In the garden of your life, coloring your hope
The canopy of stars light up at your success and love
The moon serenades the lovers, caressing them with love
So, your voice may not be heard by us
Every word you speak, becomes a part of nature’s folklore
Testimony to all the events in your life; happiness, sorrow
And in times of neutrality, you are covered in a time wrap
The feeling of loneliness, is momentary
When you absorb nature in you, and nature absorbs you
