I’m tired of all back and forth politics
It makes me sick
Like spring
When the pollen hits
Words get manipulated
Bend like contortionist
How unfortunate
That we speak the same language
But entirely different dialects
This is not a test
And if it was
The answer wouldn’t be no or yes
Fill in the blanks
To what you think is best
No wrong answer
So you try to guess
No wrong answer
But your Incorrect

I am a shapeshifter in these unfamiliar lands,
fitting myself into crooks and edges of photos I’ll never belong to,
forming myself into images of what the people want.

I am an outsider to the only world I know,
scrambling at pieces to create the perfect picture,
stitching memories to build the perfect home.

I’m a foreigner in my own skin,
searching for a way to express myself,
craving for a place to find myself and call it home.

If hallow bones could make me fly I'd go so high,
I'd break the sky
But here I lie, upon my bed, staring so far inside my head,
wishing that I could just be dead,
hearing the things that I once said,
Rapidly falling into a sea, as black as coal and misery,
avoid me like I am the plague, I lack the energy to even beg.

I just want to go back in time, to give my mom a hug, in person and not in just in my mind.

I am alone,
My friends are the letters in this poem,
I tell them my sorrows and they repeat every word I say,
Friends are hard to come by these days,
We are all stuck,
Not me,
Words are my friends,
Words from others are my enemy,
The silence of the words I repeat in my head slowly grows,
I am truly alone with my friends,
Even words leave me in the end of every poem,
It’s a poem.

My prayer this Easter
Is for you to experience
The true and everlasting joy
That being a child of God brings you.
I want you to fully understand
His love and compassion for you,
And I want you to believe
That He died and
Rose from the grave
To give you eternal life in heaven with Him.
Hallelujah!
Happy Easter everyone! <3

Christ is all in all
In heaven and on earth
He is the seen and the unseen
Christ gives all its worth
All is created through him
He holds all we find
He is before all things
In him all things bind

There is power in Your name
It puts strength in the legs of the lame
It gives hearing to deaf ears
And puts words in the mute mouth
Your name paves ways where there's none
Your name is our shield and comfort
We are heirs of your promise
Your name is our everything.
Glory to God

There are no stars in the midnight's sky
No clouds but there's rain running down my eyes

No leaves on the branches of the summertime trees
Ever since you turned around and walked out on me

No comfort when I lay in bed
Not with all those memories swirling around my head

No joy or pain feeling oh so lame
I can't see me ever loving again

The clock has lost all of it's tick
Time stands still my heart's so sick

By the time that the year will end
They'll be saying rest in peace , and amen

All because you say we are no more
Goodbye you said as you closed the door

Nothing will ever be the same for me
Ever since you turned and set me free

Ever since you turned and set me free
Ever since you . . . you set me free

My eye is never satisfied;
My ear is never filled...
By the beauty of a mountainside,
Or songs that give me chills

Every sight – a hollow view,
I look for more and more
Every sound – an empty cue,
Nothing to answer for
---
My eye is never satisfied;
My ear is never filled...
Ten thousand times I must have cried,
Then smiled – lied – with skill

Everything I see today
Will be, tomorrow, gone
Every sound will fade away –
A shrill inside a yawn
---
My eye is never satisfied;
My ear is never filled...
Does Meaning ever coincide
With life, and hope, and thrill?

I dream this dream, within a dream –
No substance, light, or power
I sing this song, without a sound –
My voice, the wind, devours
---
My eye is never satisfied;
My ear is never filled...
I might as well be groping blind,
Deafened – senses killed

I long to see that final sight
And hear that final word,
To show me Something in this night,
And assure me that I’ve Heard
---
But…

Maybe, I never, seeing, See
And never, hearing, Hear
Because the problem is IN ME:
This heart of death and drear...

This heart, it must be satisfied;
This heart, it must be filled!
For, we all see from deep inside;
The heart always distills...
