Be grateful,
For as long you eat and have clothes on,count yourself opportuned.
No matter what you get in life, you'll never count it enough until you become grateful for the little things.
We envy money so much not realising it can't buy happiness nor a spot in eternal life,it can't buy love nor peace.
All that money can buy is vanity.
Money is important, its a need. But putting it as priority and counting yourself nothing when you don't have much of it is not a good thing really.

The universe has favored me .
I have pride in such a gift
Like the earths milky ways and thousands of colliding stars have fought against each other creating such a disturbance
You are a disguising piece of such a beautiful collision
And you have taught me how to love

Maybe it was god who punished me
In giving me pride in such a gift
Like you are the most ruined creation
But I have found pride in the spaces of your fingertips
He had gifted you to me as a sin
A sin that would flow from my lips
And settle as lust in my eyes
A sin that draws in attention without trying
A wreck that was made to never give

But I have disregarded all the burning buildings and I have chosen to see you for your mess
In your collision of colour and insecurity I have found what was made to fit me

Me ?
A born , disturbance
Just like you.
Full of insecurity and an unflattering mixture of hues.

Okay so you know in life we are given people right ?
And sometimes they are just accessories, they serve no actual purpose they are just present for decoration

And other times people are placed in our paths to mould us
Very few people have moulded me
But you are one of the most extreme impacts

Emotionally first , like you make me weak even though I have built myself to become so rigid
You have contributed to my personality in a thousand different ways ( you may not notice it )

And I am still baffled because it is not human-like for a being to impact another so greatly

So thank you , for being a part of my process

If it is the plan of the universe to continue having you on my path

OR
if it is tragic

I want you to remember something
I WILL ALWAYS FIND PIECES OF YOU IN MYSELF,
IN MY SURROUNDINGS
I will find your smile in the glow of the sun
Or your chaos in thunder
I will think of you when I see dust particles in faint sun rays
Or when night falls
I will always crave you when a wave hits the shore
I will feel your touch glide above my bones
Or remember how you burnt your love along the flesh of my lips and at the tip of my tongue

I WILL ALWAYS FIND YOU IN EVERYTHING, BECAUSE YOU HAVE
ENGRAVED MY MIND
L.
drenched in blue moonlight
I admired her through
the sheet of smoke
in the gap between us

Carefully I
swayed and our arms
greeted with a gentle graze

"I tend to see the glass as half empty–
sometimes completely."

Sudden words drew me
like water from a well

A cigarette pinched by
the uneven crescents of her lips
pulsated, her sallow face
awash in a delicious red glow

"Either way, it's a beautiful glass,
isn't it?"

time nonexistent
She fumbled another
to a faintly open mouth
I lit it in silence

You'll envy every bit of unblemished skin
You see on those without it.
You'll wonder why you never seem to win.
You think you're well, but you're falling into a pit.

You'll cry more tears than ever.
You'll cry as if everyday you've lost,
And sometimes it feels like you'll never
Cry again.

You'll count the cost
Of living
When so tired of giving
You'll slip away,
Vowing to not see the next day.

They'll tell you of all the pain
It will bring to them
When your tears fall like rain
You'll be too numb

To think of anything else
But the road to your death
You'll see your belts
And wish they would take away your breath

You'll lose, you'll gain,
You'll forget who you were.

I'm having tea with Life,
And his band of Disappointments.
They dine at my expense,
And they're a hungry bunch of guests.

Tea turned into Supper,
Where the Disappointments drank
My finest wine,
And Life wiped his cruel mouth
On my tablecloth.

You can't have supper without dessert,
So they ate up more of my
Food for thought.
And if you stay for dessert,
You may as well spend the night.
So they did
And burgled my pantry of hopes
For a midnight snack.

One night was lovely,
So Life cackled, "Why not stay two?"
And two turned to a week,
And a week turned into
My sickeningly merry guests
Moving into my dreams,
And inviting in Doubt,
To live with them too,
And of course
Pay no rent.

So I watch my chaotic household
Of a skull,
Where Life has made himself at home
And brought all of his friends.
I stare dully at my ruined
Dining room of thought,
Which they have dominated.
And look wearily for a spare idea
In my raided cupboards.

I've never been one
To evict friends,
So I suppose they're here to stay.
But learn a lesson from me,
And don't ever
Have Life over for tea.
Living is once on earth.
Live by your rules,
Don't hurt,don't hate.
Heal,love
Care but mind your own business.
Compare yourself to no one but yourself.

cry
the sharp cry
   of a buzzard
draws widening circles
   in the summer sky

below
   small birds fall silent

a qiet moment
   expands into eternity

I grow tense
and cry your name
wishing so much
