or captures the mind
as words go by
jumping off the page
with ease
like energetic fleas
or like a castle
appearing in the mist

Are we clever?
Or is it all in the mind?
People seem to like it online
but little response by the locals

Dew topped  Yellow flowers
Appear, vibrant
Fragrant and
Full of hope that Spring is here
Ornate, tall ,long green stems
Decorating our river ways, fields, hills
Inspirational sight as they appear
Looking delightful as they display
Spring has definitely sprung

The heart beats slower laying down
Weight of grave dirt heavy underneath
Sleep of the dead being a rapid rest
Fills the now with purposeful breath
