Poetic T
Death asked me what game I wanted to play?

"Game I said,
"Which game do you wish to play to stay for another breath,

Thinking long and hard as death is a hard think to beat...

"I shall play heads or tails,

"So be it, let the fates land where they must decline from,

Then he threw those pieces not once but twice as they glistened
in the darkness like two stars shining bright.
Descending upon my stare and where once I saw there was again
darkness. I heard a faint voice as my breathes diminished.

"Heads you lose, as these were the coins of the boat keeper,

And with that my eyes were sealed with two coins and my
thoughts laid to rest, never bet against death as he always wins.

I always try to choose my words carefully
Each syllable like an incision with a scalpel
Well intentioned and good mannered
In hopes of removing the ticking time bombs placed inside you and me by those that have left us behind
But one wrong slip
One accidental miscalculation
Obliterates the progress that I have so carefully tried to create.
Could one word have changed it all?
Could one different syllable be the reason that you are still here?
I wanted to give this piece a title, but I couldn't decide on one that I was satisfied with. If anyone has a suggestion I'd be glad to hear it.

I've sold my soul to you this month
thinking all the past will be forgot,
instead I've found myself with tears on cheeks
and you looking like a fool at me.

Dark Delusion
It were a lie.
I could see your lips forming the words.
Before you would let them go into my ears.
It were a disgusting sound from a wonderful person.

I acted like I didn’t hear that gross lie.
Instead I heard the voices inside your mind.
Telling me everything about you, your past and future.
They gave me a vision of my future with you.

I was lying on the floor, black blood everywhere.
It wasn’t my blood, but your’s.
Sneaking in my veins, of my precious red blood.
I felt like you, I thought like you… I died like you.

I hated that lie you told me.
“I would never harm you, ever.”
It traveled around my brain, into the deepest places.
For it to stay and holding me awake.

My ocean of thoughts.
My sea of tears.
My pools of blood.
My grave of fireflies.

I died by your hands.
By your feet.
In your blood.
In your mind.

time belongs to no one.
rather, it belongs to everyone.

everyone but the one who wishes
they could harness it.

like a wild horse, it can only be
tamed if it is given.

given, given from those who we
try in vain to give it to.

my time is not my time,
and yours is not yours.

it switches, it tangles...
and it is given, and taken away.

You control my time.
And I control yours.
