You are peppermint:
Red hair, green eyes, white skin
peppered with polka dots.

And I, a pagan, passive and pathetic,
whose paramour is a ******* paladin
with a perfect face, parted pout and
perfumed persecution, perpetuated by
parliamentary parents who prevent you from prospering.

And I have to pitch a poker face
Pretend that your painted pair of lips pressed on my cheek
do not paralyze me, peach turned pink
over a precious peck.

So what is the purpose behind your pretense?
The pointless promiscuity, part time passion,
and I'm patient--
but god--
let me pamper you, pageant-curls princess,
forget the prestige in your pedigree,
let this penniless pauper into your palace.

You are picturesque, purely portrait-worthy,
But your painted claws perforated my paper skin,
and all I wanted was to make you purr.

*(but I don't have a *****)
Yo **** this life
**** where I am
This world is mine
I just have to take it
Travel the world
Meet new people
Experience new things
Love unconditionally
Get my heart broken
Find myself
Inner peace
Just one step
That's all it takes
Start to wonder
Start to

LIVE.

I shaved my legs with razor tips
Spraying perfume, rubbing wrist to wrist
Thigh high socks with scandalous drawers
Letting you in for touching more
I asked you with a message sent
No love but lust just potent
For fingertips across the skin
I can't believe I thought of letting you in

i like those pretty lines
on your face

those little creases
with each frown
with every squint
your puckered lips
and eyebrow-raises

those permanent folds
that etch your happiness
across the canvas
that is your face

those delicate grooves
that tell me you've been
happy a few
and sad once too many

i like those pretty lines
and that they're here to stay

and my dear,
i hope that i'll add
to those around your mouth
some day
n.b. some day

i want to be
the stars in your sky
and the sun rays
that shine on
your face
and maybe even be
the air
in your lungs
and i want to
be one of the reasons
why you smile
why you wake up
and want to be more
than who you are
and i want
to be the soundtrack
to your happy days
and i want to
make you feel
things you've never
felt before
and i want to
maybe even
own a little
piece of your
heart.

I ache for my first kiss
Just a taste from her lips
An embrace from her warmth
Like the light in her heart
Kiss me in the light
Where the sun shines
To where we first met
In the middle of Tibet
So listen to what I say
I love you and I would stay
No matter where we at
I love you till my death
Beyond the stars and back

There are constellations between your teeth and you have starlight wrapped around your tongue, there is moonlight in your eyes but sunlight in your smile
Every time you breath you inhale glitter and oxygen and powdered sugar, the scent of grass and strawberries and hope
Flowers bloom between your ribs and wind through the joints in your hips, your knees, your wrists
There is a whole menagerie in your stomach, butterflies and pelicans and Bengal tigers
Your skin is crushed velvet, silk and lace, encasing a skeleton of steel and iron, silver filigree
Your hands are soft as cotton, rose petals, strong as the will of all your ancestors.
When you die you will melt back into the earth, disintegrate and fall back to where you came from
You will be absorbed back into the atmosphere and the universe will swallow you up.
It will rearrange your atoms and produce something completely you but completely different.
You are one of a kind, you are the entire universe.
You will never be again, but you will never stop being.
