 Oct 2014 Call Me Satan
Mirlotta
There's a girl in my mirror.
She's there whenever I look
but
she never looks the same
and
I don't ever recognise her.

I wish she'd crawl back to
whichever ****** ward she
came from.
I met her once
a little, blind girl
who had let me
inside her wonderful world.

Yes, she couldn't see,
the girl with eyes bright.
Yet, she loved her world
like she never lost her sight.

She heard the music
of the breeze that blew.
The love for her world,
it only grew.

She acquainted me with
that music she heard,
from the buzz of the bees
to the chirping of the birds.

Yes, she couldn't see
the wonders of life.
Yet, she smiled
without a sign of strife.

She had beautiful eyes
filled with wonder.
I stood speechless and thought
how could God make such a blunder?

She danced and sang
with a graceful twirl.
How she loved her life
the little, blind girl.

She smiled and laughed,
her face filled with joy.
With wonder in her eyes,
she was serene, yet coy.

She felt her world
beneath her tiny fingers
and on me left a mark
that would forever linger.

Yes, she couldn't see
the life that she felt.
Yet, she never showed
the sorrow that she dealt.

Her world was dark.
Yet,  she saw
the Earth's true form
pure and raw.

Yes, she let me in.
But I couldn't overstay.
So, I excused myself politely
and quietly walked away.

I had met her once
a little girl who couldn't see.
Yes, she was a child
but the happiest there could ever be
Probably one of my best works. I'm pretty proud of it. ^_^

crumpled skin
like you're shedding

Her name was Mary Sue, and she was perfect.

A face like wonder
that bathed in beauty and
half dressed seduction
soaked in crystalline
bath bombs
scenting her skin

Perfect.

A voice like innocence
that cried for lust
begged endlessly for kisses
wrapped in glaciers
devoured
from the inside out

More perfect than me.

A heart like liquid gold
that melted men
and ate them whole
sent them platinum pressed
flowers
and called it love

More perfect than I'll ever be.

A tongue like flame
that licked and loosened
the severity of my heart
until it crumbled like
sawdust
between her fingers

I wanted her to - she was perfect.

A laugh like foreign goods
unworldly and unwieldy
a stab in the back from
a voice that chimed like
bells
or blades, I couldn't tell.

So perfect.
Too perfect.
Hopelessly, unbelievably perfect.

It's hard to believe she was even real.
An ode to the numerous Mary Sues I'm seeing in fiction.
maybe i fell  in  love  with the
way  you  would  look  at  me
and look away when i caught
you staring or maybe i fell  in
love  with  your   smile  when
you felt brave enough to keep
your gaze and maybe i fell  in
love   with   your  demanding
personality and your reckless
ability to abandon everything
or  maybe  i  fell  in  love with
your     dreams,     fears     and
twisted    thoughts   and   you
only   fell   in   love   with  my
s      u      r        f       a      c      e
i am desperately trying to figure out why this didn't work
I can find more perfect moments,
In one conversation with you,
Than in everything else I've been through.

I can find more joyful feelings,
In an hour together,
Than I could in the rest of my forever.

I can find more nervous heartbeats,
When you hold my hand,
Than in every trial I've had to withstand.

I can find more calm and comfort,
When you hold me tight,
Than in the warmest bed on the coldest night.

I can find more honest concern,
For me and my health,
From you than I've ever had from anyone else.

I can find more words to say,
But I don't have the time,
And to be honest I'm running out of words that rhyme.
Maybe
one day things will change
an unexpected twist in fate
will come hurtling through your gate

Maybe
it will different tomorrow
not the same as it was today
and all your troubles will be washed away

Maybe
tomorrow i'll remain the same
an awful poet, with an infamous name
but who knows?

Maybe
tomorrow you and i
shall glow.
They were photo-shopped
Every inch of fat cropped
Cropped till there was nothing but bones
Cropped till society labelled them as beautiful
Cropped till they had boys falling at their feet
Cropped till they
no longer
needed
to be
cropped.

They had starved themselves
They were 'fat free'
They were
hollow
and

They were
empty.
