Words can slice and dice peoples' hearts
quicker than a knife ever will.
Words bring emotion and people will always remember how you made them feel.

limb from limb you tore me apart because you knew id let you
id let you hold my hand in order for you to get close enough
to rip my arms off so that I could never touch your skin again.
as we lay, legs intertwined
I fall for you again and you take my legs so that
I am unable to walk to you
I spilled my heart out to you and my mind
so with that you stole my love and all my secrets
you had every piece of me in your captive
and I know you wont come back to return them so maybe that's why I cant build the strength to stand up
or to trust another human with my heart
so ill lay on my bathroom floor
shedding tears merely because
that's the only thing you have left me able to do

One day this boy
He took his hands and laid them across my thighs
Sitting directly in my vision
He took his hands and he molded me
Like artist mold clay into beatifying works of art
He molded me in this way
Creased and cut away pieces of what I was
Shaped and edged what I am today
That boy I met was an artist
7 months
It took him to completely change me
I believe he even molded my heart with abit of black clay
Maybe that’s why everything’s been so dark lately
But that boy was indeed an artist
dedicated to you
When the day comes kiss your kids goodbye
Pack up your things with your heads held high
And try not to cry
Cause we got to be strong
Put on a tough face an promise your love ones your coming back home
Cause it'll be us on the front lines
Us who will be the first to hear the bullets fly
And the rockets and tanks
Out here where just a number
Same thing back home
If you think they care our lives on the line
Your horribly wrong an a lil naive
It's us who will be in the trenches fighting for their lives
Because their to priceless to fight an die
They have to many things to loose
They have a lot to prove
But so do we too
Some of us are fighting for the promise of a big financial break
To put food on our babies plate
To stop the bank from taking
Maybe they will train us
And give us a way to survive
Or maybe it's a way to get rid of us
To deplete or population
We outweigh them
But still there on top
They control the flow of money
While our wells run dry
So when that day comes
It's us who's on the front lines
Trying to provide for the ones we love back home
And it's not like we have a choice
We are the ones picked first
But we don't back down
Be ready
When the rich wage war it's the poor who die
when you go to that lane
where the houses are graves
their rooms only pain
shadows' dark waves

where winds pause morose
light is barred
closed doors and windows
keep sunshine debarred

where walls are deadened
reeking of moss
the way is a dead end
weighed with cross

you would meet a hollow face
covered in hood
who would ask *all these days
you did what good.

Sunrises in your eyes,
Silences of the dawning skies,
the grace when you stride on by.

  Soft songs
your child sings in rhyme.

The rainbow
when the rain is still,
the silence of my heart when
I lay with you -

Birds that fly so free,
the ocean wave
as it drifts towards me.

Winds blowing high in the trees.
Sleep as it descends on me.

Beauty in the flowers
we hold within.

Nature's course,
it comes and goes,
we know.

There's beauty in
our harmony
our poetry
our one singing voice.

There is beauty
in the lives we
live, as they
run
their course.
Caught unaware
Heart’s naïve
Breezy feeling
Beautiful ambiance
Colors seep in
Lovely hues
Lofty demands
Open arms
Hearts consent
Willing prisoner
Timid no more
Brazen display
Affections galore
Souls levitate
From unknown depths
to unexplored summit
Magnetic pull
Desires unleashed
Feels triumphant
With every move
Silent assassins
Willing prisoners
Breached confines
