To dearest,
I hope you can view me more clearly after this poem:

2 pm                 7/14/1788
I am lying down wondering why you are not replying
I wrote you a letter worth crying

3 pm                 7/15/1788
I heard your voice
In nothing but noise

4 pm                7/16/1788
I remembered what you said--

5 pm                 7/17/1788
I prayed for us to be wed

6 pm                 7/18/1788
I got tired of waiting

7 pm                  7/19/1788
I heard-- I cried

8 pm                  7/20/1788
You died.
The loss of a loved one in old times. News travelled slowly, but never did love.

I feel so divorced from the world* - I said.
He smiled - You haven't even got married yet.

I am half dead.
Like the crushed leaves beneath my feet.
They are almost brown but absolutely not green.
All I do is flitting from one side to another
senselessly
until I disappear
completely.

My body is cold and white like yours.
Though, you don’t have a body now,
I don’t have anybody.
To love.
But I know a soul which will never die.

It musn’t be a surprise that God keeps you out of my reach.
I would take all of you.
In one go.
Sweetest suicide ever.
While you are flowing through my throat
to my stomach,
I will destroy my excretory system
to keep you inside of me
for more than a little while.

I do love you, I love you twice.

How can you be so real and unreal at the same time?
I hate to fake myself but
“I think I made you up inside my head.”

I
watched
him
every
night
sweep
his
guilt
under
our
queen
bed.

I'd like to tell you
How I feel about you
But no words in this language exist

To tell you the truth
If I could just hold you
Then I'd say it all with a kiss

I want you to see
How much you mean to me
Without you I could not survive

Hope springs from your beauty
I feel it's my duty
To love you the rest of my life

I hate to see you dear poet
writing out all your pain
it makes me feel quite useless
like an umbrella without the rain

I want to put my arms around you
to let you know someone is there
we won't even have to speak
it's just to let you know, someone cares

In reality there's a distance
and I'm unable to sit with you
but I hope you don't really feel alone
with this pain you're going through
This was written for poets that are writing their pain at the moment.

My heavy heart feels so fragile today
I'm sure it is leaning to one side
I hope this feeling doesn't last
it's affecting the clarity of my mind

I'm pretty sure the beat is slower
and it's affecting the way I move
struggling to manoeuvre limbs
I soon hope things will improve

I've decided just to lay here
to let the feeling fade
I hope my heart's healed tomorrow
so I can begin a brand new day

It's just simple to see
why love is so
complicated

In the summer,
Embers of sunshine,
dance in the pupils of your eyes
As you wave your goodbyes,
To those cries,
Those April showers,
That have held you in their powers
For so long.

In the summer,
You open our arms to each day,
As you watch the old decay,
and lay
In the creases of your past,
Grounded on soft grass.

In the summer,
You shimmer and fly high,
With each laugh
that tumbles across you lips,
Each movement of your hips.

In the summer,
Flickers of hope,
elope,
at the curves of your smile,
Like ice cold, lemon juice,
You are glowing, glittering,
Reveling in your youth.

In the summer,
You are shards of blooming flowers,
Peacefully scattered between hours,
spent, laying content,
In your skin.

In the summer,
You are a work of art,
Handed down through the
passages of time
You sparkle and shine,
and the moon does not confine,
Such beauty.

In the summer,
Stars fizzle on your tongue,
as you sing a song,
that reminds you of long ago,
And in the summer
You plant cherry trees,
Serenity.

In the summer,
You lay contently for hours,
and the present it sours,
As grey skies,
Blanketed with reality,
Set upon you and me.
Whilst in the summer you are free,
Every victory,
has its losses,
And every summer
must become history.

So the sun may set
In the pupils of your eyes,
And those goodbyes you waved to your cries,
May resurface,
but the furnace inside of you,
Blazes so bright,
You don't need the sunlight,
To ignite the fight,
That lays dormant in your veins,
so as you lay in the remains and
Seeds of doubt become rife,
As you battle with lifes strife,
Never forget
That there'll always be tomorrow,
So don't you dare,
sit in sorrow, or shed a tear,
face your days with dear,
Because as soon as one summer is gone,
Another is near.

So the flower beds we laid upon
May become rotten,
And that laugh of yours may be forgotten,
But for what its worth, my love,
The memories we lovingly crafted,
like sand castles by the sea,
Will forever spend their days,
Washing upon the shore,
That is me.
