A family came to our farm,
friends of my son. I had not
been around,  even seen
small kids in a long while,
from my porch I watched the
two boys under six and their
sister of three, as they raced
about the property, to the barn
to see the animals first, then
to bounce on the trampoline,
soon into the above ground pool
to cool off, splashing, playing.
Their little excited sing-song
voices like music to my ears.

I longed to get closer, to talk
to them, just to be near this
magical aura that small children
radiate, this purity of heart,
this unbridled gist for living.

Alas, needs for social distancing
got squarely in the middle.
So many important things have
been lost to this spreading plague,
most of all far too many people,
altered things and life that used to
be even for the living, distancing
us from friends and family.
Common sense requires adjustments
and adherence. Time before we
can return to our old normal ways
and life. We must all do the right
thing, even it it hurts. Until a
vaccine, there is no other choice.
It is important for you to know about yesterday to understand today.

I found so much inspiration
on your happy smiling face
with lovely eyes
I reached the high on the sky
Without any difficult race
For your affections!

I felt my heart in your words
like nature gets in the morning
With the chirping birds
I got a new light of dreams
In your work my sweet darling
As like the moonbeams

You're so kind, so kind to me
That's why I want to be
a poet like you.
You have a great heart
With a decent soul
Darling, I love you!
Thank you

Long live Bangladesh
Long live!
Your nature is ever fresh
I believe...

O my country, I love you
Give me love,
Make me true,
O my clime, I do love you!

You're my motherland
You're my only soul
You're my only goal
O you're my right hand.

I learned with your love
You're lovely, you're a sweetie
I dreamed with your beauty
All I got, what you have.

O my land, I never scorn you
You're evergreen
You're my heaven
I always, always dream of you!

Love gouged me blind - still a part of me knew,
That you were high on life whilst I was high on you.
And now i've awoken with a mentality shift,
I'm not afraid to die but afraid of the lift.
Because when you left I had died the last I looked in your eyes,
As you stole all hope - eliminating my highs.
Yet as my world may turn black,
Without you,
Without drive.
At least yours without me,
You are free,
You will thrive.

Why is there a tree?
A tree.
So green and alive.
Why is there a tree?
Sitting in cracked desert dirt.
There is no oasis.
There is no life.
So, why is there a luscious green tree?
Wait.
It's... her.
She is the tree,
My tree.
She is my life in the lifeless wasteland.
Save me.
Please save me from this wasteland....

Can we dig a path to France,
Here in the woods of Washington?
I want to take you to Barcelona,
Dance on the green hills of Ireland.
Can we set a course to the heart of joy?
Let me take you around the world.

Grab my hand and I'll grab yours,
Let us walk and live in love.

i didn’t steal your sun
i stole your smile last night, when
my dreams kept you busy with dreaming, for a
faraway land,
where people grow smiles in the rain,
and love’s born from lotus mad,

now your smile shines on my lips,
is honey for the nordic bees,
uplifts my eyes into the clouds, my face
radiates fireworks,
everyone asks me “ what did you do?
you look so beautiful?”,
words are resting in silence,

i wish i could tell them,
i am only the thief who stole your smile, when
dreams of your night kept you busy with dreaming
