So, I wrote a poem for you,
Because, like always, you were playing on my mind,
Refreshing as cold mornings, grass littered in dew,
You are always smiling and kind,

I spoke to a God I don’t believe in with tearful prayer,
Asking for you to love me, kiss me, play with my hair,
I know, to you, I haven’t been fair,
But I look at the space in my bed and just wish you were there.
i think i love you

I look at you,
and I see someone
who has lived and experienced so much,
Both good and bad,
And has come out stronger for it.

I see someone who is beautiful
on the inside and outside.
I see eyes with endless stories
and a smile with silent tales to tell.

I see you. And that's what matters the most.

Sleep, and dream about tomorrow,
For tomorrow will come quickly.
I'll be holding you in my mind;
I'll be there whether you see me or not.

In the foam of coffee, or the soft touch of wind,
In the comfort of couches,
In soft lights or floorboards;
I'm there with you.

in the beginning, it starts out like this:
you talk to me, I talk to you
back and forth
we don't really know what we're talking about,
grasping at various ideas until we find some sort of connection,
and once we've found that connection,
it has started.

slowly and softly,
we drip back into our own little worlds,
composing the structure that we each need to survive,
yours being the complete opposite of mine,
but that's okay,
because a drop of wax can build a new candle,
and all that candle needs is a spark.

Because I still love you,
from the remains of our firing love ,
those ashes still beats for you,
I still love you
But you don't care right?

a sudden burst of excitement!
because, wow, we have something to talk about!
and we talk and we laugh and we smile,
sometimes by ourselves, and other times in each other's company,
and we never think this fun is going to end,
because how could it end?
the pleasure has only just begun!
