it always seems to be
when I am alone
the universe hands me
the worst anxiety
when I have
no one to cry to
no one to distract me
no one to talk me down
just me and my thoughts
trying not to over think
trying not to freak out
trying not to cry
eventually I'll be okay
but ****, universe
at least let me have a friend

Truth is not beautiful
When spoken without thought
This was not a treasure chest
I held the key for
Rather one I found propped open
It was not earned
Nor mine to claim
Yet I find myself filling my pockets
With the trinkets and gold
That come tumbling out of your mouth
Ground between teeth
Leaving your speech unintelligible
I will bury this beneath my own treasure
Leaving a map for you
To never use

Fragility is fertility to change,
That which needs to become new,
Must first become old.
That which needs to be full,
Must first become empty.
Those who need to become stronger,
Must first suffer weakness.
Those who need to be loved,
Must first feel alone.

Change is the birth of growth.
That which is new,
Must now grow old.
That which is full,
Must now be shared.
Those who are strong,
Must now breed strength.
Those who are loved,
Must now love those who are alone.

It is our duty and our right,
As those who learnt to fight.
To fight for the voiceless,
To defend the defenseless.
To ensure the world we leave,
Is a world our families won't grieve.
To ensure that our daughters,
To ensure that our sons,
Never once in their lives,
Have to take up a gun.

And as i sat and watched the moon rise and the sun set
I thought of your laugh and the way it starts and never stops
I thought of the times youve risen higher than even you thought possible
I thought of the when you made yourself happy and really felt it
I thought of the way you are soft, yet fierce and full of rage
And i know in the morning when the sun comes out and the fog lifts, you will be there, standing powerful and fearless.

Aim
It becomes so natural
Extension of yourself
Extensions of yourself
It is not done
It simply is
I do not practice archery to ****
I practice to live
On planted feet
Finger and kiss point
Meet under pressure
Focus
Release
It is not done it simply is

Invocation
Falseness becomes you, little plastic angel
marble eyes roll, liquid sky drops of ***** coolness
never-changing
hair so fine, my heart wants to glide along your ribbons and silk like
figureskating
welts glow red on my skin as your bronzed alabaster shimmers respectably
kiss me once more; i want to taste the diamond on your lips
glitter glitter glitter
until it's time to tear away the mask
and then what are you?
she's so cute
i've never really thought highly of makeup
painted faces bore me
but hers <3 <3 <3

I stumbled upon you
Like a child
that finds a pretty stone

Bewildered by your presence
I sat and admired
Counting your cracks
Caressing what makes you glitter

You stood infront of me
Bold and beautiful
Like nothing I'd ever seen

And as you gave me your attention
I think I misconstrued your intentions

I wanted to put you in my pocket
But you said no

So there you sit
Perfectly unpolished
A love

I can only visit
