its beauty cant be ignored
this underground queen
hasn't yet been crowned
its just too supreme
yet haven't been found
unique and magnificent
sparkles and shines bright
all eyes are opened wide
brilliance is something
it just can not hide

I'm not a mind reader
my magic wand is in the shop

I can't let people drive me crazy
when I know it's in walking distance

give me a list and some parameters
otherwise; I'm off in the left field picking daisies

no words in the world
could really describe
what I feel deep inside
I wrote a letter in my mind
that turned into a message
that I wanted to send
hoping you it will find
by sailing through the wind

I received your letter one day
it really had me thinking
bringing tears to my eyes
with no real reason why
friends I thought we were you and I
but all I found inside was
the sad words "Good-bye"

caught in a spell
caged; blocked,
closed and locked
covered in tears
ink smudged
paint dried
all useless
patience is missing
running out of ink
words unclear
and unwritten

I sometimes get hit with writers block
sometimes I can’t please myself with
my own unique creations
I'm my own toughest critic which has led me
to stop writing on several occasions
when the path has been cleared
I'm unable to stop the flow of my creative
thirst; a mouth quenching desire to write
if you were to hand me a glass of words
I'll write all night
