My heart has no exit door.
He who gets in,
Will  be stuck there forever.
My heart has no key.
Try it now
And you will see.

My poetry for you seems easy
Like a radio hiss
For me it's just knocking off the time
With vivids ,lucids and a cup of coffee!
i loved you
when the sun
still rose in the west,
when caterpillars
hadn't grown
their wings yet.

i loved you
in cherry lips—
in almond kiss,
in dreamy eyes,
in youthful bliss.

now, my distant heart
could only love you
in heavy mist,
in forlorn might,
in fleeing light,
in vague hindsight—
of what was right.

You always preferred your coffee black,
Strong and hot and stable,
I would sip my tea across the kitchen table.
Silent moments such as these,
Would make me feel my most at ease.
But now all that's left is tea.

Life in monochrome
Has been smooth and safe
The world of colours, allures
Newer avenues, shores
Measured steps
A journey to embrace
A rainbow awaits
Thank you so much, for the sunshine here, V, you are gracious and kind :) ☀️

There are many outer layers

Covering your skin

It takes a bit of stripping

To find what lies within

That is the beginning

Dig on and you will find

A thousand coats of rainbow paint

Covering the mind

Guilty

Guilt's a funny thing
Sometimes you almost forget
Other times, it kills
I have charged myself
Signed and sealed the death warrant
Accepted my fate
And I suspect I'll
Punish myself much longer
Than you will hate me
