Silent in shadows
Drowned in grief
Joy of mourning
My heartfelt relief

Love
how does one love a poet?
between the lines of their spoken words
and their haiku's.
a jumbled nonsense to an untrained ear
but a masterpiece
to the ones who take your poems
the ones they've studied
and they dissected
because they find them*  almost
as beautiful
as the way your soul shines
when you coin a poem
about the one who
coins their poems
about you.

*the delicate intertwining process of loving a poet.
I'm in love with you and all your little things.
Take something, anything
And smash it into everything

When you know nothing
You find meaning
"The Sun Sees Your Body;
The Moon Sees Your Soul"
I was on the website Imgfave.com and I saw this quote. It made me think about life and the contrast between body-soul, and sun-moon... It is an amazing piece!

Enjoy!
Are you really unhappy
Is that what you really feel
Or is it something you made up
Believed in it so much you've made it real
Tell me you deep dark secrets
I promise they won't be revealed
Why are you always so angry
Is it because your dad isn't here
Do you feel abandoned
What's going on in the inside
Why can't you let anyone in
It's terrible to hold everything in
Your only hurting yourself
You keep everything bottled up
Eventually your going to bust
I can hear you screaming on the inside
You just want someone to trust
But your never going to be happy
Unless you learn how to open up
Play games with my soul
Make me believe in you
Let drop me in the hole
Flick my heart in two

Leave me alone in the dark

My pride fell far away
It crumbled like clay
When love just ceases
Flick my heart in pieces

Now all alone in the dark

I love my sister dearly
she lives with me at home
She helps me with the stress of life
so I don't have to on my own

She parts clouds
Makes the sky blue
Then to ease my pain more
adds a soft cloud or two

She's building a beautiful garden
filled with hollihocks, foxgloves and such
It has an outdoor bathroom
that I will enjoy very much

She helps keep me grounded
my feet firmly on the ground
Keeps the dark clouds away
While to my life I'm bound
While helping care for my husband, my sister has built the most beautiful sensory garden for my husband and I.
My sister's amazing and I love her dearly
The blizzards of snow, falling straight to the ground,
circle in the wind and block out the sound,
burning my skin and freezing my soul,
yes the winter has taken it's toll.

The dead trees that shed their leaves, I only see a reflection of me,
but no one thinks to dress me up with light.
While the nights are going strong, the drunkards belt out their yuletide songs,
the added up years have turned the phrases trite.

And all those lost souls were tracing angels of the snow,
Using chalk though the white blended in too well.
Seeing the indent and questioning how far it did go,
If this unknowing snow angel had made it's way to Hell.
