Light fails and shadows race,
Murmurs echo in night's embrace.
The precipice beckons, l'appel du vide sway,
Untethered, falling in disarray.
Enveloping tendrils, dreams entwined,
Despair's ballet, absence find.
Silvermail submerged descent,
Silent witnesses, heart's lament.
To my hero
It is Father’s Day today...
And it was Mother’s Day a month ago...
And you are both to me...
For you have enough love for me to be a mother and a father…
You love me unconditionally...
You are, and will always be…
My best friend…
My mentor…
But overall…
You are my hero...
I worry when I see you sad...
And I laugh when you are happy...
I will always be there for you...
The way you have always been there for me...
Thanks for nurturing me, raising me and protecting me…
You are not alone...
Luckily... neither I am...

Son
never understands his father
when he was alive,
it is both
a curse and the beauty
of the relationship.

Father
always keep distance
from his son
because
it's nothing
but
exercising power over him.
Suppose in future
If the son goes wrong
this power will bring him
into his circle.

A good son knows
when his father died.
he still lives in
very DNA of his and
will guide him through
his inner voice..

Happy Father's Day!

I pretend that my heart doesn’t sink
when I remember, only fragments of you

I pretend to want this life
even when I can no longer stomach it

I pretend not to notice my scars
underneath my new green skirt

I pretend to be alive
despite my decaying soul
Two birds
waiting for seeds
squirrels hog the feeder
boy girl cardinals a patient
red pair
My first attempt at a Cinquain. I probably did not follow all the rules. I do not have the patience of Ron Sparks    https://hellopoetry.com/ron-sparks/    in his clever poem, So Many Years    https://hellopoetry.com/poem/4720050/so-many-years/
