Two boats float on the horizon,
as I watch the setting sun.
They put the picture in perspective,
how deep and far the water runs.
It makes my concerns seem awfully small now.
The vastness hits me like a bomb.
The burden of my ghosts lifts from my shoulders
and I think "Alayhim as-salaam"

The way you left the relationship just shows the type of person you really are.

I have spent my whole life
looking into the distance
and watching black birds fly
over the trees

All these houses are boxes
and the fences are cages
and I am trapped here like a bird
with clipped wings

So I look at the horizon
at the far away trees and the
soaring black birds
and wonder what it's like to be free

Everyone on here's a lonesome poet
Just like me
Yet we all got eachother
So were not so lonely after all!!!
