She was a different type of princess.
For all her monsters were inside her mind.
And no charming
was brave enough
to face those beasts.
So,
she had to teach herself,
that, "being saved"
started when
you began
finally
*loving
yourself
I love reading fairy tales. However, sometimes we need to learn that it's not always prince charming who can save us. Sometimes it's ourselves.

I become a real
mermaid by your side, but just
like in that danish

fairy-tale, I shed
no tear when I cry; make no
sound when my heart is

broken; smile when I
dance on razorblades of your
human love; cease to

exist by turning
to sea foam when the love of
yours toward me is no more.

chasing you
is like trying to find the *** of gold
at the end of a rainbow

impossible

you are a dream
with no end

a nightmare
made up of the same monster

my lungs hurt
from chasing you

push me away before i lose my strength
because god knows
i will never stop chasing you

Check out the lights
Lets transcend the heights
Of my own imagination
Past garbled salt water
Part boiling mermaid daughters
Asinine aliens
Magic beings
Mystics and monks
Praying to
Diaphanous demons
A Virile and vain vampire
Dating a sparkling tree spirit
A wretched wizard
Hanging with Witty Warlocks
And Witches in weird wardrobes
A Wicked werewolf
Courting
Alluring angels
Naughty Gnomes
Teasing tiny
Pretty pixies and
Frightened fairies
An Unlucky unicorn
Being chased by
Dangerously daring dark dragon
Greedy goblins grabbing gleaming gold
Goofy Gargoyles
Glad handing
Gorgeous goddesses
And a cranky Kraken
Staring at a sickeningly sultry siren
Sitting on a salty sea stone
Trying to eat an enlightened elf
A leprechaun laughing
At a ***** hobbit
Who is trying to ****
A hairy and hostile dwarf

All stream lined in time
Put on a perfect pause
Cause they don’t do anything
They are just fake figurines
Cardboard cutouts
Pretty poems and portrait
Painting in my mysterious mind

She wore a red cap,
Thinkin 'bout her again,
That's just another ****** trap!

Like a fool, I let the ghost walk through me everyday,

The ghost steals my food,
The ghost steals my bed,
The ghost is trapped in my head!

This ghost plays with my heart likes it's a toy,
She drops the red cap on the floor,
She vanishes out my door!

Remember the ghost,
She haunts me day and night!

This poem was inspired by the Korean fairy tale. "The Magic Cap."
"The goblins of Korea used to wear magic caps, called Horang Gamte, which had the power of rendering them invisible."

whenever you're around me, I feel so alive
like I've found a vital piece of my heart once again
you make me happy, you make me smile
you make me feel the butterflies in my tummy that just can't seem to stop
this feeling is just so fantastic
I wish to freeze time

but this isn't a fairy tale, oh no it's not
you're fading away from my life and i need you to not
not go from my life, not make me feel alone again
the butterflies that used to flutter about are now dying instead
