"I'm going miss you"
Of
     Course
I'll miss you too.
But
      This summer
Reeks with
  The memory of what happened
Especially when you say

"Are you gonna come home
Pack up
Leave"
I wasn't planning to
      I've always loved you
          I've never left you

"Are you ******* your TA"
The actual ****
      Why
I've
never
Given
Anyone else
The time of day.
Why talk to me that way

Im sure it's projection
But give me a breath man
I'm drowning trying make you happy
Your boot prints on my waterlogged shoulders

"Am I excited to come home"
I dont really know
Who I'm comming home to
Anymore
What happened to you

usagi
His thread weaving through my silk cloth
Agonizing at first I had thought,
he punctured exhaustively through my sheath.
I felt broken and torn from deep beneath
I then came to the realization; I was sewn up tighter and tougher than ever before
so

Thank you.
We collect things
play with them awhile
put them away
where they accumulate

The unfinished project
in the garage
The clothes you are wearing right now
The dirt under your fingernails
the people who call you by name
the randomness of it all
becomes part of the story

This rainy day
a couple weeks before Christmas
feels like home
no happy ending
just old hands
soft  to touch.

Banda Dipuo
she was known as the slave of heart
pretty young girl that just found new love
she was blinded by it
she could not even see it

it was always him over everything
him over everyone else
worst of all it was him over herself
she was the slave of heart

she did not see it coming
cupid payed it so well
she got her tiny heart broken
and she still loves him

nothing has changed
she has ignored the pain
all she wants its her bae
because she is the slave of heart
after so many years
it is still to you I turn -
you have called me friend
through thick and thin

on hearing of a movie,
you know I'd love,
you call me straight away
and choose to be my date.

if things get rough
and I'm in a state
of emergency
your the one who's around to pick me up.

when a friend is needed
if "he's" been cruel,
once again,
it is you I'll always call -

you'll have wise words to say
to mend my aching heart,
adding crows feet to my face
from making me laugh.

all those years ago when it was you
I chose to love,
another girl had captured your heart.

I'm grateful of that decision
you made for us,
as you have grown to be my closest friend,
each others to who we'll always turn,
thus developing a life-long kind of love -
One hundred and something beats per minute,
A happy tune to keep me
with it
As I stare out of the bus window
In-ear phones cancelling out,
The ambient sounds
Of busy Cambridge City
Always enjoying the diversity
Finally seeing the love

On Victoria avenue,
I saw two little girls
Sat on a tree branch together
Dangling as it flexed,
Over Jesus green
Probably siblings
Maybe even friends
I felt their feelings
Even on this crowded journey

I long for forms of childhood
Carelessness and joy
I long for companionship
Brotherly and sisterly love
I long for happiness
Smiles and sunshine forever
Maybe I've found it
When you finally see what you were looking at all along.
(A new style for me)
