And then the blues
Here they come
The sun has finally gone to bed
Here they come

white blank sheet of papers became my solace
for everything I couldn't face
the pen became my sword
when everything feels so cold

what I write are the other me
who I deeply wish I could be
a princess who fell in love with a knight
a damsel in distress who learned to fight
and a maiden that made that bad boy's world come into light

what I write are the adventures inside my mind
that are nothing but one of a kind
travelling in search of Hades in Greece
and look for the golden fleece
marrying the king of thieves
and dancing with the fairies along the maple leaves

what I write are the different worlds I've gone
that I would love to live and to have fun
a world full of deities and magic
a dying world filled with tragic
and a world so beautiful I would like to mimic

what I write are the words I long to say
but will never make its way
the I love you's I secretly whisper
I could only write it in a paper

what I write are my feelings kept hidden
because the world wont listen
so I decided to make it into a letter
and there it shall remain forever
I write because of my heart. I write because the world wont listen to my heart.

Heartbreak

Deep breaths can't capture enough air. Sleep is elusive and rest is mourning love lost. Thoughts torment the broken with unanswered questions. Escape isn't possible even with attempts. Choose your poison! To love or not to love. Either way, heartbreak will find you.

You're older now, soldier.
Your wars aren't the same.

Dust and the blinds they collect,
days that feel red, almost enviable
in their passion.

Shaky hands again, dry mouth
again, sirens singing low in
the black water day after day.

Death should mean something.
Encore for the epitaph!

It isn't real, but it is. It's replaying
in your head. It isn't real, but

it happened.

A piece of paper caught in the wind
Your wrist shifts up to move the hand
There is nothing to grip anymore
It has been taken away in the gusts
The gust of life are so precious
Many times we hate the inability
To be able to do more than the possible
We want to hold water, fly, live forever
Yet, we've no idea the responsibility
There is so much grey in the world
Tanto, tanto, tanto gris
We don't even know what to do
When it's all gone and we're left
To Swim, to Walk, to be Alive
Could I just become a song?
Play and run around between the music
Touch the human soul that drives us

Pain in chest
Pounds and with
Each inhale
Stabs of lightening
Like I swallowed a taser

One glance skyward
And then I shift my position

Death might not be all that bad
Just the sharp pains leading up to it

Things that nobody talks about:
The desperation of loving someone who doesn't love you
How the sun feels warmer when you've spent a year being cold
The feeling of weightlessness after crying yourself to sleep
When he stares long and hard at you and smiles softly, making your eyes feel shy even when you are not
How people who used to exist in your orbit still take chunks off of your surface, even when you've taken so many hits you hardly exist.

Things that nobody talks about:
Even when you've moved on, even when you've found someone who loves you more, even when you've discovered better things, your skin remembers things best forgotten.

END THIS MENACE SOON
Leaping flames and rising fumes
Billowing through shattered panes
Of Mumbai's majestic Taj Hotel,
Choked the helpless inmates
Who knew not why and what
Had caused the terrible blast:
Trapped inside burning rooms,
Scampered and struggled                              in vain
To flee from the spreading flames
And bullets fired from Kasab's

guns.
Shocked and stunned,
the whole nation
Watched with horror and bated
breath,
On TV screens the terrorists' siege
And the commandos' daring acts
To rescue victims and seize
the fanatics
Who maimed and killed innocent guests
And left painful scars, indelible,
On the minds and hearts
of survivors.
When will the world find strategies
To end this menace of
recurring crimes
And save peace loving people
in  all nations?
