"elucidates" poems
Almost like playing a movie from the middle
And trying to understand it as it plays.
It is quite impossible to understand some scenes
From the play unless you watch it from the beginning.
Sadly you can't rewind life
And you must stick to
What your conclusions have gotten to.
You may guess, but never be
Sure of how that person
Has gotten where it stands.
So until that person elucidates its timeline,
Or you simply comprehend them as they are.
•
As humans we are persistent to
What we want or need.
It may be material,
Or a simply contentment inside us.
You perceive someone's gloom in their senses,
But not the denotation.
This may come to another term named "love."
And understanding is the main key to show affection.
Just as logic is the key to be a genius.

I remember,
every corner of the streets
we used to walk together
holding hands,
where the loveliest colors
are ever painted
within your smiles.
I remember,
the rain which elucidates
the resemblance of truth
and of love,
and all of my attention
is drawn to wondering,
how long will you stay
by my side.
I remember,
how your sweet lips invite;
our first kiss defines
every moment for which
I always realize that I am safe
whenever you are
close to me.
I remember,
those romantic nights
when your body lay
next to mine,
and the moon captivated
our souls, to descry
every beautiful scenery
of a once paradise;
then we talked
about the future.
But a night for which
my heart still remembers,
is when you looked me
in the eyes,
and said the first...

All women have their own beauty,
Whether shown through their Eyes, Voice, Body or Character
It's a beauty that is.
Though most men don't see it
For they do not have the strength to look at real beauty in the face.
For you see, without women,
There is no men.
Yet, we continue to dishonor them.
Every woman is beautiful,
You just need to be courageous and see
A Beauty That Is.
-end-
I no longer feel this fully elucidates what I am trying to portray
Reformed:
All women possess their own individual grandeur.
Whether exemplified by their shimmering eyes, sweet lullaby voice, a curvacious body, or supreme character.
It is a beauty that is.
However, dominantly men refuse to observe of such
Thus, they lack the prudence and discipline to gaze upon profound and genuine beauty.
Effectively, the absence of the woman would entail the demise of man as a kind.
Still, men objectify, debase, dishonor, and even barbarously assault women.
All of whom have their own beauty.
You just need to be courageous and observe,
A Beauty That Is

my 14 year old
younger sister
comes to me
asking for advice about
boys
i'm flattered she thinks
i understand anything about
boys
does she think
my late drunk nights
dancing
kissing
touching
boys
in stranger's homes
makes me an expert
does she think
my long afternoons
chilling
smoking
driving around town with
boys
means I comprehend how to keep a relationship
does she think
being dropped off
at home
by some of the
boys
a little too late
a little too early
elucidates my ability to understand
boys
I'm sorry
little sister
but I don't understand
boys
anymore than you.

In
searching
all the earth i did
not expect to find
A soul within a world that's
a complement to mine 'Complete' is not
the word that elucidates my head But puts me in the
lantern with the dimming lights instead You're painted in the
foreground, i begin to disappear The rest of me converted
to another hemisphere You knew that i was
dying, i had said it once before
()()|()()
So pluck me from your eyelids, i won't say it anymore
The ink has bled in veins and I'm left without a trace
Without a single outline or
dimension to my face
By walking
on its edges
i discovered
how to fall
To find someone like you
and lose the meaning of it all

Your graceful sweet smile…
Absolutely stuns all of me…
The breath of your soul…
Completely elucidates me…
The warmth of your body…
Intensely consumes me…
The Sun within your eyes…
Shines straight through me…
Your soft soothing voice…
Weakens the depths of me…
No only my knees…
But my heart above all
My heart now clung to yours…
My soul is yours to keep
All I ask is for once chance
For your presence to grace me…

I don’t have to work hard to earn you,
I don't have to be worried if we had an opposing view;
I can trust you in my dark days,
you stand with me in all my life's phases;
we are not related in blood,
we were not even born in the same mud;
we don't have to share promises
we don't have to sing the same choruses
we are no soulmates,
we are best friends, a bond no dictionary really elucidates;

Let me get this straight
There are some things I hate
But at any rate
I feel the need to state
That I love America
Despite her checked past
And I want America to forever last
I love America
And I’m not ashamed
Of pointing out her shortcomings
Some I’ve even named
But I can’t think of another country
That even can compare
Or offer me the freedoms
That I enjoy right here
I love America
That’s not a euphemism
Yet that doesn’t mean
It’s beyond all criticism
When viewed under a microscope
You see a certain prism
That elucidates all of our
Schism as well as glaring isms
I love America
But I often wonder
Does she love me
Judging by
How I am treated
And the things I see
I love America
But I can’t just let her be

Happiness
Shattered
Glass
Take a deep breathe
Smile
Let it pass.
Wake
Up
Pull jeans on
Put music on
I won't break your heart
Serenade
Agree
Pray.
Lyrics as cryptic as me
Get to know my rhythm
It captures my essence
It elucidates my presence
I never hesitate
I'm an ongoing sentence
I'm scared there's going to be a
"Too late"
Promises
Running down my cheeks
Our prospects are bleak
Because my resistance is weak
I just want to speak,
******
So much has changed
Yet so much remains
Comfort is my drug
Don't take it away from me
I need your touch
This life feels like too much
Without love.
You close the door
And hide
From my mind's eye
And all I am left to do is wonder
Sharing my thoughts with you is my only blunder.
