Sleep calls from a distance
I turn; on a bed of yesterday's tears
and tomorrow's dreams.
The weight of their expectations
lies heavy like a nursing baby
on my chest.
I do not want it.
I'm afraid the bed is too small
for the both of us.
She sunk slowly southward, skimming my soul with sweet sighs,
Acutely aware of my amorous... appeal, I ached for her acquiescence,
Daring- Her; I- dazed: Delicately devouring my disheveled desire,
Leisurely lingering, her lips leaving lipstick licks and languor,
Yet it ended, and I yearned for you.
The cog works,
We are all apart of the cog,
Constantly being smacked against cold metal hurts,
But to stop the cog,
Everyone must stop,
But people like the cog,
Love the cog,
So the cog works.
Nothing is wrong
when I am young
and you are beautiful
I can't wait too long
to listen to your song
when nature is wonderful.

No, maybe it's wrong
when we're unknown
and not committed
I wouldn't sing for you
Now I need to know you
and we should be committed.

Okay then alright
Give it up tonight,
Nothing has happened yet.
Yeah, you were wrong
let it go and wait a long
for a true skylight.

A pause..

The pulse quickens
Throat swallows
Tension thickens
A breath follows

The silence weighs a ton
An everlasting duration
To the silence between someone
The sound of hesitation

Beauty adorns your face when you smile
And the light of your eyes is entrancing
I listen to your voice so soft and so warm
And my heart it feels like it's dancing

Oh darling of mine, oh eternal sunshine
A halo of kindness surrounds you
And through all that I am or ever will be
It's you I'll always feel bound to

Ah, but loves not a march that time moves along
It's the waltz of a life that's worth living
Because when you're here, nothing feels wrong
And my heart it just feels like giving
